My Go-To Moisturizing Cream for Summer and Fall: ROUND LAB's Dokdo Cream
Hello!
I've finally used up this cream, and now I've got a solid opinion about it that I want to share with you.
I'm guessing I'm not the only girl out there who uses basic skincare products, like moisturizer, as part of their daily routine.

This cream moisturizes and smoothes the skin, giving it a clean and healthy look. The deep-sea water from Dokdo Island, rich in minerals, helps maintain the optimal hydrolipid balance.
Price: 1,068 rubles.
Brand: ROUND LAB.

Where I bought it: wildberries.
Volume: 80 ml - it's a bit larger than usual, I'm used to seeing 50 ml moisturizers, but this one's a generous 80 ml.
Usage: it's pretty economical, I got four months out of it, and I only used it in the morning, not every day - sometimes I applied it at night instead.
Ingredients:

I've taken a close look at the ingredient list, and while it's not perfect, it's not bad either. You'll find shea butter, sea water, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and a ton of other great ingredients for your skin.

Niacinamide is a real standout - it's got some serious antioxidant power, helps repair the skin's barrier, and fights off free radicals that can break down collagen.
Adenosine is a progressive anti-aging component that boosts the natural ability of cells to resist aggressive impacts from free radicals and toxins.
Multi-molecular hyaluronic acid fills the skin with moisture on all levels and keeps it inside by forming a protective barrier.
Manufacturer's information: there's not much info on the packaging in Korean, but you can find a translation online.

This hydrating cream with ceramides and seawater provides intense hydration and retains valuable moisture, preventing dehydration. The cream prevents age-related changes, smooths out 'dry' fine lines, and has an anti-aging effect thanks to the palmityl tripeptide-5. Seawater from the Ulleungdo Island (Korea) contains a high amount of minerals and, besides intense hydration, increases the skin's ability to retain valuable moisture inside. This is achieved through a patented membrane filtration process.
Packaging: I've always been a fan of how Korean brands put so much thought into their packaging. It's all about the details, and it's beautiful. The packaging for the Dokdo Cream is no exception - it's got a lovely soft blue and white design, and the box features an image of the ocean and cliffs.

The inner packaging is made of high-quality transparent plastic, and the illustration is duplicated.

I love that the transparent packaging lets you see the texture of the cream and how much is left in the jar.

The lid even has a duplicate of the ROUND LAB logo.

But what really caught my eye was the special spatula that comes with the cream. It's clear that the manufacturer thought about the little things.

I'm weird about getting my hands into creams, even body lotions in squeeze tubes. I always try to scoop them out with a spatula, just to avoid getting my fingers in there.

The packaging came with a plastic membrane to protect the cream.

I left the membrane on for a while, but when the cream started running low, I ended up tossing it.

Aroma: completely non-existent for me, and honestly, I'm fine with that. I like creams with and without a scent.
Texture: super gentle, the cream is a pure white, light, but it doesn't melt into my skin when I apply it.
ROUND LAB 1025 Dokdo Cream
At first, I thought the texture of this moisturizer was too light. I was worried it wouldn't provide enough hydration for my combination skin.
ROUND LAB 1025 Dokdo Cream
But once I started using it, I realized the moisturizer packs a punch despite its lightweight texture. It provides decent hydration for my skin.
ROUND LAB 1025 Dokdo Cream
I can actually get away with using just this moisturizer without needing a toner beforehand.
ROUND LAB 1025 Dokdo Cream
Application: I've been using this moisturizer during the day since I prefer lighter textures at night.
When I first started using ROUND LAB 1025 Dokdo Cream, I applied too much of it and thought it was overwhelming my skin with moisture.
ROUND LAB 1025 Dokdo Cream
I changed my routine and started using it in smaller amounts, and that's when I fell in love with it.
In the morning, I wash my face with a cleanser and pat it dry.

Next, I apply a toner (I don't always use one), and then I dot the cream on my skin.
ROUND LAB 1025 Dokdo Cream
The cream spreads evenly across my skin and leaves a hydrated, not greasy, finish.
ROUND LAB 1025 Dokdo Cream
If needed, I can blot excess cream with a dry cloth, but I like to let it absorb for about 15 minutes before wiping it off.
ROUND LAB 1025 Dokdo Cream
I have to say, the effect on my skin after using ROUND LAB's cream was amazing - I ended up buying more of their products, each with a specific purpose.
The cream's pros:
Great value for money, I managed to snag it on saleLarge 80ml volumeBeautiful packagingRich formula with beneficial ingredientsSoothing textureLong-lastingNon-greasy and doesn't clog poresNo need for a toner before applyingExcellent moisturizing propertiesLeaves skin hydrated and radiant
ROUND LAB 1025 Dokdo Cream
My verdict: ROUND LAB's got me hooked - even with my existing skincare stash, I still find myself checking out their new releases.
I'd definitely recommend this cream to anyone with combination skin, like mine.
