I've been a loyal customer of Rosselkhozbank for over 10 years, but my latest experience left me feeling pretty frustrated and disappointed. The bank seems way more interested in faking its online reputation than in actually providing good service to its customers.
The bank's love for fake users who only have one review on the page is pretty obvious - it's like they're trying to buy their way to a good reputation on those text-based trading platforms.

Rosselkhozbank Branches
When my account was up for renewal, I headed to the central branch of Rosselkhozbank in my city, as I always do. But I was shocked to find that the branch still hadn't been renovated after six months. I had to trudge all the way to another part of town.
The branch on Kransoarmeysky Prospekt is much smaller and has a broken terminal, so the queues for both physical and legal entities are just as long as they used to be.
After 15 minutes, it was finally my turn. As I approached the third window, I gave a big smile and asked if I could be helped. The staff member looked at me less than warmly and, busy chewing gum, asked what my question was. I told her I had left a prior appointment to close my account and withdraw my funds. It seemed like she really didn't want to give me my money, and she wasn't exactly thrilled about working that day.
She struggled to understand which buttons to press on the keyboard to get my money to show up on the screen. It took her 15 minutes to figure it out, and she kept calling over her supervisor to help her. But the supervisor was just as unhelpful, answering her questions curtly and without much enthusiasm.
I spent 10 minutes fiddling with the computer, and then I was told that the money hadn't been transferred. I'm not sure what the point of that message was. Maybe it would have been easier if I'd just gotten up and left, defeated, because the transaction hadn't gone through. But for some reason, I didn't.
Process
After doing a few more simple tasks, still frantically chewing gum, I was told that everything had worked out, and I was given some documents to sign and sent to the cashier. But after visiting the cashier, I had to go back and upset the staff member all over again because I'd left some money on my account and needed to transfer it to another account with Rosseti Bank. And that was all done through the online app. I've always found the bank's staff to be super helpful with this, but not this time.
The trainee indicated that she wasn't responsible for this and that it wasn't her job. And then she just got up and walked away to some back room. I was left sitting there for another 5 minutes, all alone.
I just sat there waiting for my trainee to come back and try to help me, but nope, that wasn't happening. The Rosseti Bank staff member just got up and walked away, leaving the customer hanging!
Development of events
Playing this game and waiting for her was getting old, so I turned to her supervisor, who was literally sitting right next to me, but didn't seem too interested in helping or taking control of the situation. I went over and asked to speak to someone more competent. And the response was that I was supposed to be handled by the staff member who'd taken me in the first place.
I have to say, I was a bit miffed that they didn't even acknowledge my comment about how clueless their staff member was. The instructor just walked out with her, probably trying to give her some guidance. A few minutes later, they both came out of the other room.
Madam tried to focus and understand what I wanted. I handed her my phone with the app and asked for her help. But the intern had no idea what she was doing. She was just stabbing at random buttons, and I was getting a bit worried that she'd accidentally do something that would send my savings to Timbuktu.
I went back to the instructor and told her that the intern still had no idea what she was doing. And just because she'd taken my phone, it didn't mean she'd learned anything.
At that point, I was offered a seat and told to wait for a more competent staff member to become available. I waited a bit longer, got frustrated, and left.

Result
I get that everyone has interns who need to learn, but it's ridiculous that they're training on my money without supervision, just stabbing at random buttons. This office doesn't seem to have a system in place where the intern can just say, 'Sorry, I don't know what to do, can you help me?'
You'd think that with all the fumbling, something would magically get sorted out and the awkward customer would just disappear into thin air.
I was thoroughly unimpressed with this experience. I've been a customer of Rosselkhozbank for over 10 years, but with the way they treated me, I'm taking my business (and my money) elsewhere. Even if they offered a much higher interest rate than my new bank, I wouldn't go back. I managed to figure out the app myself, transferred my savings to a different bank, and left the idea of keeping some of my money with them behind. Thanks for the half-hearted attempt. It was a real pleasure being an unwelcome guest who's met with disdain.
