I recently picked up the ROSE ET MARIUS Un rendez-vous avec Cézanne candle from the Golden Apple box I bought back in December. The scent I was expecting based on reviews was a strong tobacco smell, but what I got was a warm, woody scent that I've been obsessed with ever since. It's actually a really interesting blend of spices and trees. The perfumer did a great job.

I had a different experience with another candle from the same box, which I didn't love as much - the 100BON Secret Garden candle. It was way too sweet.

I loved the description - it really matches the scent. I've never been to Grasse, but I can imagine what it must be like now.

Where to wear? Honestly, it's a versatile scent that's perfect for any occasion. I wear it everywhere, except to work. I prefer something more feminine for my office job.

Who's it for? This is a 100% unisex scent. Both men and women can wear it. Not all unisex scents can pull this off, but this one does.
