I've got to say, I was a bit skeptical when I picked up this salicylic acid exfoliating mask from RivGosh for around 350-400 rubles on a whim. I'd been browsing for cotton masks, and this one kept popping up as a top recommendation. Given my super problematic skin, I've had amazing luck with these types of masks.
Since my skin isn't sensitive, I can use products with salicylic acid without worrying about irritation. My main goal was to dry out my acne and smooth out my skin, which is exactly what I need.
When I first saw the packaging, I was really surprised. The tube is tiny - it's metal and looks just like a regular pharmacy cream. I thought it would barely last for two uses, but it actually lasted a bit longer. It's 20ml, which is perfect for traveling or using on-the-go.
The mask came in a simple cardboard box with all the necessary information on it. I love how compact it is - it's so much easier to store in my bathroom.
I have to say, I really like the size of the tube. I hate when I buy a huge tub of something and it gets boring after a week. This mask went really quickly, and I didn't even get tired of it.

Consistency, color, scent:
The mask has a medium consistency, a pale color, and spreads easily on the skin, but you have to apply it quickly because it dries and becomes sticky almost instantly.
The scent is definitely not for everyone. It smells strongly of PVA glue, which is pretty unpleasant. I'm not a fan of strong scents, but it didn't bother me too much.
Despite the small size, the product is actually quite economical. You only need a tiny bit, and it applies in a thin layer.

My skin and its state at the time of use:
I have oily, problem skin. My pores are enlarged, and my sebaceous glands are super active, even in the winter. Right now, I've got breakouts, post-acne, and an uneven skin tone.
I don't have any special requirements for a mask, especially a simple and budget-friendly one. But since the manufacturer claims it's salicylic acid, I was expecting it to dry out my acne and smooth out my skin.

My impressions:
I applied it after washing my face on clean skin. The mask sets instantly and pulls the skin tight, which is pretty uncomfortable. You have to wear it for 15-20 minutes. The first 5 minutes, it cools the skin slightly and you can feel a mild tingling sensation – it only lasts for a couple of minutes, then the mask dries out and you don't feel anything at all.
The mask is easy to remove, it takes about half a minute. I don't need any additional tools like sponges, which is super convenient.
After removing it, my skin feels tight and dry – no big deal, but my skin! It's transformed. Instant matte finish, pores are smaller, post-acne marks are smoothed out. My tone is even, and the mask seems to brighten up my complexion, especially in the before-and-after photos.
What a shame! The effects are short-lived. Unfortunately, this mask doesn't work for long-term benefits – it doesn't affect oiliness or acne prevention. It might dry out existing pimples a bit, but that's about it.
My skin feels amazing after using the mask – it's matte, smooth, and looks almost flawless.
I used this mask 2 times a week, right after applying a lightweight moisturizing cream to restore my skin's balance. This mask lasted me for about 7-10 applications – I initially thought it would only work for a couple of uses.
Considering the price-to-quality ratio, this mask completely won me over. I've come across more expensive and useless products.

Verdict:
I'm actually pretty fond of it. I think I'll end up buying it again. But keep in mind, it's really only suitable for skin types that are prone to intense sebum production. Others might find it too drying. I'm happy with it, and I'd give it 4 ⭐
