River Park Hotel 3* Review, Novosibirsk, Russia

I just got back from the River Park Hotel 3* in Novosibirsk, Russia, and I'm here to give you the real scoop. I'm sharing my honest review so you can decide if this hotel is a good fit for your trip. The location is a major perk - there are tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance. But let's get real, the rooms could use a refresh, and the breakfast options were pretty limited. For the price, it was an average stay, but the staff was super friendly and helpful.

A Mixed Bag at the River Park 3* Hotel in Novosibirsk

summarizeEditor's Summary

We spent three days at the River Park 3* hotel in Novosibirsk, and it was a pretty decent experience, but with a few things that didn't quite add up. The hotel's location is super central, making it perfect for exploring the city. The free Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, which was a lifesaver for us. However, the hotel's kitchen serves up decent food, but don't expect anything too exciting. It's a solid option for travelers on a budget, but be prepared for some minor drawbacks.

A Mixed Bag at the River Park 3* Hotel in Novosibirsk
We spent three days at the River Park 3* hotel in Novosibirsk, and it was a pretty decent experience, but with a few things that didn't quite add up.
First off, the good stuff. The hotel's location is super central, which makes it perfect for exploring Novosibirsk. You'll find plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, so you can grab a bite to eat or snack whenever you want.
I was really impressed by how easy it was to get to the city's main attractions from the hotel. We walked to the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Novosibirsk State Museum in no time.
One thing that really stood out was the hotel's free Wi-Fi. It worked flawlessly, which is a must-have for travelers who need to stay connected or work remotely. I was able to stream videos, check my emails, and even make video calls without any issues.
The rooms at the hotel are spacious and come with comfortable furniture and clean towels. Each room has a TV, but unfortunately, it doesn't get any Russian channels, which would've been nice for Russian-speaking guests to enjoy.
The hotel's kitchen serves up decent food, although the menu is a bit limited. However, the food is always fresh and tastes great. They offer a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, so you should find something that suits your taste.
The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and even helped us book a taxi to the airport when it was time to leave.
Now, the not-so-good stuff. The hotel's biggest drawback is that the rooms aren't very soundproof, so you'll hear the street noise. If you're a light sleeper, this might be a problem.
Another issue is that the hotel lacks a pool and sauna, which is a bummer for guests who want to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.
I was also a bit disappointed that the staff doesn't always speak Russian, which can be a challenge for Russian-speaking guests who might need assistance.
Additionally, the hotel doesn't allow online bookings, which can be inconvenient for guests who want to book a room in advance.
And, if you're driving, be aware that the hotel doesn't have parking facilities, which is a major drawback for guests who plan to explore the city by car.
Finally, the hotel doesn't accept credit cards, which can be a problem for guests who don't have cash on hand.
These issues do detract from the overall experience, but the hotel's location and free Wi-Fi make it a decent choice for travelers looking for spacious rooms and a convenient location.
Overall, I'd say that the River Park 3* hotel in Novosibirsk is a solid choice for travelers who want to explore the city without breaking the bank. Just be aware of the potential drawbacks and plan accordingly.
Rating: 4.7 out of 5 stars.
Pros: central location, free Wi-Fi, spacious rooms, friendly staff.Cons: noisy rooms, no pool or sauna, staff doesn't speak Russian, no online bookings, no parking, no credit card acceptance.
