Our family stumbled upon a fantastic spot to spend quality time together, and I'm excited to share the amazing oceanarium inhabitants and some awesome locations we discovered.
Ticket counters. The ticket prices vary depending on the day of the week and the age of the visitors. If you're planning a visit, be sure to check the current prices on the oceanarium's website. We visited on a Sunday morning with a 2.5-year-old kid, and the total cost for our group of three was 3000 rubles.
Right next to the ticket counters, there's a cloakroom where you can store your coat before heading through the amusement zone to the oceanarium itself.
Cloakroom.And here's the entrance:
Entrance. The oceanarium is dimly lit, which is probably better for the fish. Plus, it's easier to spot the marine animals in the dark. My little one was fascinated by the dim lighting, and I have to admit, it made the experience even more magical.
The first creatures we met were these adorable penguins. They were so well-fed and clean, and the water looked crystal-clear too - everything seemed to be in order.
Penguins. We spent a good amount of time admiring the penguins, and I was impressed by the attention to detail in their enclosure. The penguins seemed to be thriving in their environment, and it was great to see.
Penguins.
As we ventured deeper into the dark corridors, we came across a multitude of aquariums, each with its own unique inhabitants. The variety of fish was staggering, and my little one was completely enthralled by the colorful displays. Aquariums. Aquariums. Aquariums. Each aquarium had a detailed description of its inhabitants, which added to the educational value of our visit. My little one was fascinated by the different species and their habitats. Description. There were also various themed installations that added to the overall experience. The attention to detail in these installations was impressive, and my little one loved exploring them.
Themed installation. One of the highlights of our visit was feeding the carp. You can feed them from a baby bottle or specialized food, and the feeding machines are a game-changer. The cost of the food is around 100 to 200 rubles, which is reasonable considering the experience.
Fish feeder. Carp. Carp. Carp. Carp.Feeding the carp was a fun and educational experience for my little one. It's definitely a must-try when visiting the oceanarium.
Aquariums. Aquariums. There's also a photographer at the oceanarium, and the photo-taking function is pretty good, with decent photos. However, the price is a bit steep - 1500 rubles for a small photo, and 1700 rubles for a magnet. We ended up buying the magnet, which is actually pretty cool. Still, 1700 rubles is a bit pricey.
We also explored the amusement park, which is basically a playground for kids. Rides cost around 120 to 200 rubles each, give or take. My little one had a blast on the rides, and I was impressed by the variety of options.
Rides. Rides. Rides. We had a fantastic time on our visit. The little one was thrilled, and even the grown-ups were pretty stoked. It's a top-notch spot for family fun. Highly recommend!
