Editor's Summary

I recently stayed at the Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel on Kievskaya, and I'm still raving about its unbeatable location and top-notch amenities. As a frequent traveler to Moscow, I've had my fair share of hotels, but this one stands out for its excellent service, great dining options, and comfy rooms. Plus, its proximity to Kievskaya Station makes it a super convenient choice for those arriving from Vnukovo Airport. But what really gets me is the hotel's commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere - it feels like a home away from home. Overall, I'd highly recommend the Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel to anyone looking for a hassle-free stay in Moscow.

Hello everyone!

I chose the Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel on Kievskaya because it's located near Kievskaya Station, which is where the express train from Vnukovo Airport arrives. Plus, it's super convenient to meet up with friends or get some work done in the city center, since everything is relatively close by.

For those arriving from Vnukovo, Radisson Slavyanskaya is a great choice. It's just a 5-minute walk from Kievskaya Station.

A Closer Look at Radisson Slavyanskaya

The hotel is huge – I used to walk by it all the time, but I'd never stopped to take a look.

They still have the Christmas tree up, and the purple lighting is still going strong.

There's a red carpet leading up to the entrance, automatic sliding doors, and even some festive decorations in the doors themselves – a white bear, to be exact.

And to top it all off, there are security guards dressed up in holiday attire, complete with festive trees.

The reception area really stood out – the staff were super friendly and there was no queue at all.

The freebies were a nice touch – cold water with lime and cucumber, and some sweets. Although, I have to say, a hot cup of tea would have been nice on a chilly day, rather than water with ice.

The lobby was massive, with a huge Christmas tree and a countdown to 2026 on the wall. There were also some comfy chairs.

I was a bit surprised to see some escorts walking around – girls in fur coats and high heels. One of them was chatting to a guy who was at least 20 years older than her, in English, although she looked like she was in her 40s herself. She was even asking him for his number!

There's a lobby bar with some red armchairs.

There are three restaurants – a Georgian one, a regular breakfast spot, and a sushi place.

There are plenty of shops, including a Rolex and Mercury store, and even a fur shop.

You can even buy artwork and souvenirs.

There are even two beauty salons – one for men and one for women.

To be honest, it's not just a hotel – it's a small town. They've got everything.

There's a free gym.

On the second floor, there's a collection of paintings on the walls, kind of like a gallery.

There's some kind of hall for meetings or events.

ROOM DESCRIPTION AND INTERIOR

The hotel has loads of floors and loads of lifts. Each floor has sofas and coffee tables. And, um, Christmas trees.

It's surprisingly quiet in the corridors.

My room wasn't a presidential suite or a luxury room – it was a standard room, and it was spacious. The interior design was classic.

The high ceilings, the double bed, and the most important thing – the pillows were super comfortable. There were four of them, and the bedding was clean and not too stiff.

And two armchairs and a small table.

Looking out the window from my room, you can see the street below.

The nearest metro station is Kievskaya, just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. I also often head to Tsentralnyi Ekskursionnyi, which is now looking pretty cool with its decorations.

The room comes equipped with a table, chair, and mirror. There are plenty of lamps, including a few table lamps and a floor lamp.

The room also comes with a kettle, cups, tea, and coffee. The water is replenished every day.

I didn't end up using the TV, to be honest.

There's a charging dock and a few USB ports.

This huge closet with mirrors and a safe, a fridge – it's all here.

I really liked the interior design, it's super calm and classic.

The bathroom is spotless, no dust anywhere.

And the bathroom has a shower, you can actually take a bath.

The toiletries are basic, nothing too exciting.

I had a jetlag headache and I ended up sleeping in the hotel. I could hear the cleaning staff from the corridor, but it wasn't a big deal, you can still hear some noise.

The area around the hotel is nicely maintained, it's nice to take a stroll.

I skipped breakfast because I had a killer headache after the flight and was feeling pretty queasy too.

The two nights I spent at the Radisson flew by unnoticed. I'd definitely recommend booking a room here. The hotel's located right by the Moscow River and the European Bridge, and there's a metro station nearby.

One downside is that parking costs 500 rubles a day, which is pretty steep. Plus, the services and room service are overpriced, just like in Europe. The lobby bar and restaurants are pricey too.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

- spotless rooms

- cozy temperature

- stunning classic interior

- friendly staff

- great security

- spacious rooms

- excellent restaurants

- awesome pool, sauna, and gym

- plenty of shops
