Pyatigorsk Perfection: A Hidden Gem for the Modern Traveler

summarizeEditor's Summary

I recently stayed at this awesome hostel in Pyatigorsk and I'm still raving about it. The location is unbeatable - it's a 7-minute walk from Lermontovskaya metro station and you can even walk here in just 5 minutes on foot. The private rooms are a steal, and the shared kitchen is a great bonus. However, I do wish they had more amenities for guests. Despite that, I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great value for money in Pyatigorsk. With its perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and affordability, it's a total game changer for travelers. The staff is friendly and helpful, always available to answer any questions.

I'll give you the lowdown on this awesome hostel - it's got both shared and private rooms, and I was lucky enough to stay in one of the private ones.
Now, I didn't venture into the shared kitchen, but from what I gathered, it's in a separate wing of the hostel. That's probably a good thing, since I'm not a fan of communal spaces.Let's get down to business - the pros and cons, no beating around the bush!
This place has one of the best locations in Pyatigorsk - it's a 7-minute walk from Lermontovskaya metro station, and you can even walk here in just 5 minutes on foot.I've gotta say, this neighborhood is one of the most pleasant I've ever stayed in. It's super authentic and feels like a real Russian experience. The area is really well-connected, with plenty of shops and public transportation stops nearby. The hostel itself is massive - it's located on the first floor of a residential building and takes up the whole space. I was surprised to find that it's a brand new building, not some old Soviet-era apartment block. The price for a single room is 2900 rubles per night, which I think is pretty reasonable for Pyatigorsk. It's not the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for.The bedding was amazing - it smelled like it had been freshly washed with a nice conditioner. And the bathroom even had a pleasant-scented air freshener! The furniture is all brand new, and some of it even looks like it's from IKEA! The interior design is really well-done, and you can see it for yourself.
One thing that really stood out to me was the little touches in the room.
Even the slippers in the room were a nice touch. The coffee shop near the reception was a great bonus.Internet worked smoothly.
Minus points:
The only downside for me was the sleep-deprived and frazzled receptionist. It seemed like they were living on site and had burned out from working.I have to say, they even checked me in an hour early without any extra charges.
Without any extra fees, I was really impressed. The place is super nice in every way - modern and practical. Even the room had books for reading.
