  • The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy when in use, but it's not a deal-breaker.
  • The cord could be a bit longer, but it's not a major issue.
  • It's a bit heavy, but that's not a surprise given its powerful motor.
  • The user manual could be a bit more comprehensive, but it's not a major issue.
  • It's not the most compact appliance, but it's not a problem if you have the space.
  • The price may be a bit steep for some people, but it's worth every penny in terms of performance and quality.

I recently got an electric meat grinder as a New Year's gift, and I have to say it's been a total lifesaver. Having a meat grinder on the kitchen counter makes cooking a whole lot easier. It's one of those essential appliances that you'll wonder how you ever managed without.Technology PROTech: enhances torque and increases efficiency. Technology PROtect+: additional engine protection against overload. High performance: up to 2.7 kg per minute!

Today I'm excited to share my experience with the Polaris PMG 2584 Silver Collection meat grinder. I've been using it for a week now, and I'm really impressed with its build quality. The metal mounting bracket feels solid, and the plastic connector is a nice touch.

Here are the key details about this meat grinder:

Country of origin: China; Power: 2500 W; Performance: 2.7 kg/min Price: 7990 rubles; Where to buy: online stores POLARIS, OZON, Mvideo, etc.Unboxing was a breeze. The meat grinder comes nicely packaged in a sturdy and stylish box. The box has a handle, making it easy to carry. The box features an image of the meat grinder and its full set, as well as technical specifications:

Performance up to 2.7 kg/min Reverse function Prometal steel mounting system 2500 W power

When I opened the box, I was impressed by how neatly everything was packed. Each component had its own designated spot, and there was even a special cardboard insert to protect it from damage during shipping. The box was packed to the brim, with no wasted space. Meat Grinder Bundle:The package includes a warranty card and a detailed instruction manual with illustrations.

BodyThe meat grinder's housing is made of black plastic with silver accents.

One thing I really like about this product is the little button on the side that secures the removable tool module. The tool module itself has a nice plastic connector that fits snugly into the metal mounting bracket on the main body. Tool details and attachments:

The removable tool module comes with a drill bit, a knife, a disk, and a ring nut.

I've been using this thing for a week now, and I'm really impressed with the build quality. The metal mounting bracket feels solid, and the plastic connector is a nice touch.

I'm really impressed with how securely the detachable block attaches to the main unit. The auger and blade are crucial parts of this meat grinder. The auger, shaped like a spiral, pushes the meat through while the blade chops it up with its lopsided edges. The set comes with two stainless steel discs, one with 5mm holes and the other with 7mm holes.

I was impressed by the clever design of the control panel on this meat grinder. The button on the right-hand side is a real time-saver - when you turn it to the right, the meat grinder springs to life and starts working. But if you turn it to the left, it engages the reverse function, which is super helpful when the meat grinder gets clogged. It's a bit noisy, just like any electric meat grinder, but that's a small price to pay for the convenience.

Assembling the meat grinder is a breeze. Before you start using it, you'll need to give all the parts a good rinse under the tap and apply some oil to keep them running smoothly. The assembly process is straightforward - just take the removable working block, pop in the shaft, knife, and grid, and then secure it all with the ring nut.

I cut the pork into chunks, roughly the size of a coin, so they'd fit through the meat grinder's opening. Then, the magic happens - just feed the meat through and let the machine do its thing! This meat grinder is seriously powerful. I also like to add some minced onion and a bit of softened bread to the mix. The speed at which it grinds the meat is really impressive. It took me around 10 minutes to grind 2 kg of pork. The noise level of the meat grinder is pretty average. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ground meat - it's smooth and uniform.

I used the ground meat to make some meatballs for a soup.

I've been using the meat for more than just burgers and meatballs - I've also been making hot sandwiches with the meat. These meat-filled sandwiches are a great snack for a holiday gathering or a quick breakfast.You'll need:

- a loaf of bread (I like to use pre-sliced);

- the meat mixture;

- sour cream (or mayonnaise);

- butter;

- green onion;

- cheese;

Place slices of bread on a baking sheet, spread with sour cream or mayonnaise, add a small amount of butter, and top with a thin layer of the meat mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees until cooked through.

Just before serving, sprinkle with cheese and green onion. The result is a delicious, filling sandwich with a crispy crust and amazing flavor! Homemade sausages in casing: Ingredients:

- 2 kg pork mince;

- 400g pork fat;

- 1 tsp salt;

- 2/3 tsp black pepper;

- 2-3 heads of garlic;

- 2 cloves of garlic;

- casings (about 1.5-2 meters);

Preparing the casing:

I washed the casings in warm water first, then cold water to get rid of any impurities. I bought them on OZON. Next, I soaked them in warm water for a couple of hours, drained and then rinsed with cold water. After that, they were ready to use.

I attached the casing to the sausage maker, leaving about 10cm of excess. When filling the casing with the meat mixture, I made sure not to overfill it, as this can cause the sausage to burst during cooking. To avoid air pockets, I distributed the meat mixture evenly while simultaneously removing the casing from the sausage maker. It's essential to tie the sausages after filling, not before, or you'll end up with air pockets inside.I let the sausages sit in the fridge for 12 hours to allow them to firm up.

Preparation:Once the water is boiling, I pierced each sausage with a toothpick and continued to simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.

After that, I could either pan-fry or grill them. Dismantling the Meat Grinder: After the job's done, I unplug the meat grinder and take it apart in reverse order. To remove the working block, you need to press the button and turn it clockwise. I wash all the parts by hand.

The pusher, sausage attachment, and kofta preparation - all plastic parts are pretty lightweight. I haven't used the sausage and kofta attachments yet, but I might give them a try soon. Storage:

I store the meat grinder in its original packaging, with all the parts neatly arranged and compactly folded - it doesn't take up much space.

High performance. Easy to use. Quality components. Stylish design. The attachments come with the package. The reverse function is a nice touch. Verdict:

I'm really satisfied with the Polaris PMG 2584 Silver Collection meat grinder. It's powerful, convenient, and easy to use. It does its job perfectly - now I'm confident in the composition of my ground meat! Time will tell how reliable its construction is!

I'm super happy to have a meat grinder on my kitchen counter - I'd definitely recommend it to anyone!
