It doesn't differ from other foods - I pulled it out and gave it to the cat. The animal eats the food at room temperature, and the uneaten part I put in the fridge. Usually, the cat needs one packet for two meals, as the taste doesn't please him.

My Impressions

I won't lie, my cat isn't totally sold on this food. He's got a bit of a love-hate thing going on with it. At first, he'd eat it, but then he'd leave it and go find something else to snack on. It's like he's trying to decide if he likes it or not.

What's weird is that he'll always eat the sauce first, but then leave the actual meat behind. And it's not just the first time he eats it - it's every time. He'll start eating, then just stop and walk away. I've even caught him trying to ignore the food altogether and just eating the water instead. It's like he's trying to avoid eating this stuff, but he knows he needs to.

So, I'd say he eats it sometimes, but not with much enthusiasm. And it's not just him - I've got another cat that I've been feeding this to, and he's got the same reaction. He's a bit more laid-back than my cat, but he's still not a fan of this food.

I'm not sure what it is about this food that's got them both so meh, but it's definitely not the packaging. It looks fresh and the smell isn't bad at all. Maybe it's just the taste or the ingredients - I don't know. But whatever it is, it's definitely not winning any points with my feline friends.

And to be honest, I'm not planning on buying it again. It's just not worth the hassle of trying to get them to eat it.

We haven't noticed any allergies or issues with their coat, either. The new food hasn't caused any negative reactions in either of our cats, though their coat hasn't improved, either.

What's more important is that the food helps our cats get enough moisture in their bodies. That's why I chose a wet food as their main diet.

My mom's cat mostly eats treats after having issues with his oral health and after having a couple of teeth removed, but surprisingly, he also eats dry food pretty well. My cat sometimes eats dry food, too, and enjoys gnawing on things.

2) As for weight, I wouldn't say it's a success - our cat tends to gain weight, and on wet foods, the weight always increases. It's just how it is.

3) Healthy digestion is also a bit of a mystery. I'm not sure how to check it at home. We didn't have any issues, but we didn't see any improvements, either.

Even the cheapest wet food will cost you thousands per cat, let alone two. So, if you're looking at dry food, it's usually a better value, even at budget prices.
