Hello!
I'm sharing my thoughts on these laundry capsules that left me feeling uncertain. Let me break it down.
Persil 4в1 Freshness from Vernel for white and light laundry - this is a comprehensive high-concentration liquid laundry detergent. Persil capsules are made using innovative technology. Thanks to the combination of 13 active components in the Deep Clean formula, the capsules excel at removing stains while keeping clothes looking bright and fresh for a long time.
Persil Power caps "Freshness from Vernel" Laundry CapsulesBrand: Persil.Country of origin: Hungary.Price: 200-250 rubles on average. I bought them on sale for 198 (or 189) rubles. But that was at Pyaterochka, then I saw they were roughly the same price at Fortuna without any discounts. I was just browsing, thinking maybe I'd need to buy some more. They're sold in any store that sells household chemicals.Packaging and design
Like most capsules, these come in a plastic container with a lid. The theme is bright, and the packaging is moderately eco-friendly. The container is recyclable, and you can recycle the packaging separately - there's a note about that.
Persil Power caps Freshness from Vernel capsulesOn the side of the box, there's a perforated area where it's indicated and where the tear-off line is.
Persil Power caps Freshness from Vernel capsulesOn the back of the box, there's an annotation in bold font. To be honest, it's hard to make out, so I'll just copy the main points:Shelf life: 18 months.Storage conditions:
Store in a dry place at a temperature between 0 and +35°C
There are also some safety precautions to be aware of. They're pretty important, because the capsules look and smell great, and curiosity can get the better of you. So, here they are:
Safety precautions: keep out of reach of children.
Causes eye irritation. May cause skin irritation. After use, wash hands thoroughly. If it gets in your eyes: rinse with water for several minutes, remove contact lenses if you're wearing them and it's easy to do so. Continue rinsing your eyes. If eye irritation persists, seek medical attention immediately and show the product label if possible.
First off, if you do end up getting this stuff on your skin, just rinse it off with a ton of water.
And if you swallow it, don't try to induce vomiting or anything – just spit it out and get medical help if you're feeling really unwell.

Persil Power caps "Freshness from Vernel" I managed to break it on the first day because I opened it incorrectly. It's got two protrusions on the front that you need to lift simultaneously. I tried to open them one by one, so there's a hole in my container's lid.
Persil Power caps "Freshness from Vernel" Besides the capsules, the 14-piece pack came with a fragrance stick. It's just a cardboard insert without a string, so I just stick these things into the laundry boxes. They last a long time and don't overpower the clothes, so they're great.
Persil Power caps "Freshness from Vernel" Product description Capsules are convex, square, and three-sectioned. The blue and green ones are the same size, with a white circular section in the middle - I assume that's the conditioner. They smell incredibly potent, but it's a pleasant aroma.
However, they differ slightly from Ariel capsules, which are somehow more elongated, I guess.
Persil Power caps 'Freshness from Vernel' capsules At first glance, they feel pretty springy to the touch, but not hard. The casing feels thin, but in that regard, these capsules aren't much different from their analogs.

I've mentioned it before, and I'll say it again. The scent is pleasant, but way too strong. At first, I really liked it. It even seemed like I wouldn't need fabric softeners anymore. But after using them 5-6 times, I started feeling annoyed by the smell.
It's still a pleasant scent, and I actually like it on its own. The problem is that it's starting to feel like my clothes aren't getting properly washed or rinsed. It's because this scent has something of a laundry detergent smell to it. Fabric softeners, on the other hand, have a more subtle, flowery scent – think mountains, lavender, and roses. This one's more intense and complex, like laundry detergent. Especially when the clothes are dry and still smell like detergent. Maybe that's just my personal preference, but that's why I wouldn't buy these again.

Instructions for use
For a standard wash, you only need one capsule. I used it to clean my sneakers, a bedding set, regular clothes, and an autumn jacket, and it worked a charm.
But if you're dealing with heavily soiled items, it's a good idea to increase the dosage:
Three capsules for tough stains, hard water, or loads over 7 kg
A bit more from the instructions:
Follow the care labels on your clothes and your washing machine's manual for the best results. Don't use it for short wash cycles under 40 minutes. For shorter cycles, use Persil Gel instead. If you have very hard water, consider adding a water softener.
Wash whites separately from colors. Suitable for water of any hardness, 30-95°C:
I washed my regular clothes at 35°C, and my bedding at 60°C.

My washing experience
I've got to say, the cleaning power of these capsules has been a real game-changer for me. I've been using them for a few weeks now, and I've been impressed with how easily they remove tough stains. I'm not exactly a pro at washing clothes, but even I've been able to get rid of stubborn grass stains, dirt, sweat stains, blood, and even motor oil. It's not like I'm a frequent hand-washer or anything, but even when I've let things sit for a couple of days before washing, the capsules have still managed to get rid of the stains.
Even my old cotton shirts with yellowed collars and armpits have come out looking great. The colors haven't faded, and there's been no shrinkage. I've been drying them on a low heat setting, just to be safe.
I've been using the capsules on everything from whites to colors, and even synthetic fabrics. The results have been consistently great, and I've even noticed that the capsules seem to brighten up the colors in my clothes. Maybe it's just my imagination, but it's definitely a nice bonus.I was particularly curious to see how the capsules would handle tougher items. I decided to wash my bright red spring jacket, which is a delicate puffy coat. I've always been too afraid to wash it myself, so I've usually taken it to the dry cleaners. But this time, I decided to give it a shot. And guess what? The color still looks amazing. Okay, so it's been a while since I washed it, and it's been stored away in a box, but still.
The only item that really gave me pause was washing my microfiber towels. I was a bit worried that they might get damaged, but fortunately, they came out looking great. The bath towel I washed was a solid color, and it looked like new. The washcloths were a bit trickier, but they still came out looking good. There was one item, however, that really put me to the test.
It's a microfiber towel with a smooth, velour-like top. I'd never washed anything like it before, and I was a bit nervous about how it would turn out. I'll show you the labels, just so you can see how intimidating it looked.
Persil Power caps "Freshness from Vernel" capsules
Persil Power caps "Freshness from Vernel" capsulesIt cleaned up great, just like other high-quality towels. I think the complex double color is from the weaving, not printing. And the vibrancy of the colors on the towel is still there, even after washing. I didn't even need to iron it, which is a bonus. It's survived several washes so far. But now I'm looking at a towel that's not brand new, and it still looks bright. Natural fibers can lose their luster over time, but either this towel's quality is top-notch or the Persil Power caps are doing their job. And let's be honest, not many people pay attention to these details.
So, in terms of cleaning performance, I'm completely satisfied.
Turkish Cotton Towel with Smooth Surface
Turkish Cotton Towel with Smooth SurfaceMy Verdict on Persil's Freshness CapsulesHonestly, I'm not sure if I made a mistake choosing Persil's capsules as my first set. I just read some reviews and saw that two other lines were popular among women, so I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, there aren't many reviews online for this specific product, which is a shame.
So, here are the pros and cons of these capsules:
Value for money (although I prefer the other line, which is cheaper)Easy to use and doseExcellent stain removalNo color bleeding in bright fabricsNo fabric damagePleasant scentNo allergic reactions in people with respiratory issuesAnd here are the cons:
The scent can be overpowering even after washingI'm not sure if it's because the gel capsules aren't fully washed out or if it's just the way they're designed to be more concentrated. Either way, it's a major turn-off for me, and I've decided to stick with my old detergent. I was really excited about the price, though.
I'd still recommend these capsules, but make sure to check the scent before committing to a purchase.
Thanks for reading, and that's all from me!
