Hello there)
We've been reviewing various dog treats in our 'what my dogs eat' series, and today we're shining a spotlight on the Perfect Fit Oral Care treats with beef and added mint, specifically designed for small and miniature breeds.
I first spotted these treats on sale in the 'pets' delivery category from the YaRche store, and I was blown away by the value for money. Compared to prices from other networks, the cost is almost twice as good!
Price: 59 rubles on sale (delivery - 69 rubles, I guess the delivery fee is included because I'm too lazy to go myself) Meanwhile, in Magnit, it costs around 100 rubles, or so I think. But there's nowhere cheaper than this treat, and I'm not even considering the price in YaRche right now. It's a 'temporary offer' anyway. Although, in YaRche, the same pirozhki are on sale at a discounted price all year round.
The main idea behind these treats is that they're specifically designed for small dogs.
This affects the price, but big dogs aren't bothered by the treat's size. So, I already like that most of my dogs - three out of three - enjoy eating these treats with great interest.
The second feature is the oral health benefit. If your dog doesn't often chew on sugar sticks, but dry treats also help with natural tooth cleaning. Because cleaning your dog's teeth with a brush and dog toothpaste, no matter the flavor or meat aroma, is a real pain.
The composition includes peppermint.
I'm not against peppermint in moderation, and there's definitely some in these treats. Apparently, there's even an effect (freshness and understanding, I guess), but this is only an issue with my oldest dog, who's had gastritis since childhood.
About the composition it's hard to judge. This isn't dog food. It's given to them as a reward for good behavior, so the composition can be forgiven. The composition doesn't seem to correlate with the calorie count and protein content (22 grams), but that's okay. Considering consumer hype, there's actually more protein in these treats than in cat food.
Calorie count is HIGH - 390 kcal. I guess it's because of the fat content. So, strictly
according to the norms, there are artificial dosages (not in grams). Even though it's oriented towards small breeds, I feed my larger dog within the recommended guidelines, not more.
Lamokoleptika
These bite-sized chunks are actually a bit too large for small dogs.
I had a funny story this morning - while I was just stepping out for a second to the bathroom, Knoop managed to snatch a piece of boiled sausage from its head, despite it being the same size as the head. She was quite pleased with her trophy and snuck into the room with it. I've got a reaction like a cobra and a sense of smell like a dog, and eyes like an eagle, so as soon as I sensed Knoop was near the table, I knew the sausage was gone.
When I walked into the room, I found an innocent-looking scene - the little teeth were nibbling on the big sausage tail, and it would have taken a while to fix it. I guess the consistency was too dense.
So, it's suitable for all dogs. It's really convenient to have a full set of nesting boxes - 7.5, 15, and 30 kg - just like it was meant to be.
The treats are a bit limited - only 90 grams per packet, but it's still very cost-effective and affordable for several days and walks for three pets! And they love it. Now, I can take it with a clear conscience as a great alternative to rich protein dog food.
This treat is also directed against tartar. It's a relevant problem for older dogs. And those with dental issues.
Perfect Fit is actually a brand from Mars. I don't really complain about that - they make almost everything accessible. But our current excellent and affordable 'weight control' dog food from Italy is a different story.
It's enough for three of us for a few days. It seems to be well-absorbed. It's especially convenient for walks - it takes up very little space in my pocket.
EXPERT OPINION
Our main representative of the target audience for this treat is Knoop, almost 2 years old.
She eats everything, and the crunchy snacks are no exception. I think the granule format is a bit too large, but it's not a major issue.
This treat with a mint flavor also came in handy for us on a romantic date when we met a funny, large male dog on a walk. He liked the treat, too. We ended up giving another one to him, but he refused to pose for a photo.
makes it easier to understand)
I'm being honest - it's just another one of my discoveries. I've somehow lost focus on the importance of balanced dog nutrition, but now I'm back to it, just like three years ago. I'm getting back to my senses)
I'm thoroughly impressed with the taste, value for money, nutritional value, and approval from my pets!
THE BOTTOM LINE:
Amazing value for money at stores like "YaRche" (offline is better) Nutritious (be careful) Loved by everyone, including five test consumers With mint for fresh breath (haven't sniffed it closely, but it seems fine) Decent-sized granules that thoroughly clean my teeth Following the recommended usage, it lasts for a group and a few days
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION, WE APPROVE THIS PRODUCT)
