I've got a skincare routine that's a bit overwhelming, with a ton of products to keep track of. Serums are a big part of my routine, and I've bought so many of them that I'm still trying to figure out how to use them all effectively. Some have hyaluronic acid, while others have ingredients like peptides that I'm not even sure what they do.
This serum claims to be anti-aging, promising to give me firmer and more elastic skin. According to the manufacturer, it contains a peptide complex that's designed to restore skin elasticity and firmness.
Anti-aging serum with a peptide complex based on an anti-aging complex of 6 types of peptides is designed to restore skin elasticity and firmness.
I've been using it for a while now, and I've got mixed feelings about it. I'll share my thoughts with you.
Serum for Mary&May 6 peptid complex serum
♥ Where to buy.
I picked it up at ZYA.
♥ Price.
It costs around $1036 for 30ml, which is a pretty steep price for a small amount of serum.
♥ Appearance.
The packaging is a bit dull, but it gets the job done.
All the important info about the serum is on the back, including how to use it, the manufacturer's claims, and the ingredients.
How to use it,The manufacturer's claims,Ingredients.
The bottle itself is small and glass, which is nice, but the glass is tinted, which doesn't make it look very appealing.
I've been really impressed with how well this pipette works - it picks up the serum perfectly, and just one press is enough to spread it all over my face.
♥ Texture.
I love that it's got a nice, fluid consistency - not too runny, but not so thick that it's hard to work with either.
And the best part is that it doesn't slide around on my skin, and my makeup stays put too.
No pulling or tugging, just a smooth, even application.
It's really easy to get a smooth, even layer.
♥ From the manufacturer.
The product has a light, transparent texture that spreads easily, absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave any sticky residue.

♥ Scent.
No scent at all.
♥ Usage.
I apply the serum after toner, making sure to get a good amount on my face with massaging motions. I tap my fingers on my skin to help it absorb faster.
I apply the serum the same way every time. First, I put it on my forehead, then both cheeks. I apply it evenly, without overdoing it.
The serum has a great texture – it gives my skin a subtle matte finish without making it look greasy.
It leaves no residue or oiliness behind, and my skin looks completely normal after applying it. I really like that.
My Morning Routine:
Hydrating oil (since I use silicone-based creams and all that),Cleansing product (foam, gel cleanser),Toner,Serum.
My Evening Routine:
Hydrating oil (since I use silicone-based creams and night masks),Cleansing product (foam, gel cleanser),Toner,Face masks,Serum,Moisturizer.
♥ Value for Money:
It's a small amount, but it lasted me about a month.
♥ Effectiveness:
I have combination skin that's prone to oiliness and acne. My chin and nose wings are dry, but my cheeks and forehead are oily. I have enlarged pores, blackheads, and post-acne scarring.
I have to admit, I was really disappointed with this serum. The moisturizing effect is super weak and superficial. I thought maybe it was meant to be a cumulative or preventative effect, but it's not. I didn't like that the skincare routine is really weak: no real moisturizing, no real nourishing. The whole thing feels like a one-time, half-hearted effort: I applied it and forgot about it 30 minutes later.
On the bright side, it does give a decent matte finish, which is a relief since I hate that greasy, shiny look.
Here's the before:
And here's the after:
I didn't notice any significant effects, no work on acne, inflammation, or pores. After using it for a month and a half, I didn't see any real results. It doesn't even help with post-acne marks.
Texture-wise, my skin felt nice, but I didn't notice any real transformations. The only good thing is that it doesn't leave any residue on my face and it doesn't feel like it's trying too hard. It's also not irritating.
My face felt clean and well-cared for, so I think this serum would be suitable for women with any skin type, including oily or combination skin like mine. It won't make things worse, at least.
No negatives, no allergic reactions.
♥ The Verdict.
Seriously, this serum is pretty underwhelming, so I wouldn't recommend it.
