Hello there, fellow reviewer!
I'm here to share my thoughts on another popular cafe chain in St. Petersburg, called People Love. It's right near my place, and you'll find one on almost every corner in the city.
I wouldn't say it's my go-to spot, but it's affordable and convenient, so I do pop in every now and then. This time, I decided to grab lunch and write a review.
A friend told me about the genuine service at People Love cafe, and I'd never heard of it before, despite eating at many cafe chains in the city. Maybe this review will be helpful to someone else too?
People Love, St. PetersburgHere's what I found on their official website:
If you're not satisfied with our product, please get in touch with the seller, and we'll give you a refund or exchange it for something else (of equal or lesser value). No receipt needed.
If you've already left the cafe but want to use the return policy, fill out this form, and our manager will get in touch with you.
My friend said this return policy actually works, and I'm glad to know it's an option, even if I hope I won't need it.

People love it People love it I've noticed they sell pastries pretty quickly, so they're always fresh. But they don't sell pies as often. That's what I observed while waiting in line. It's a popular spot, and there's always a queue of at least a few people.
People love it The prices for pastries are average for the city.
However, the prices for meals are quite reasonable, especially when compared to budget canteens.
People love it I'm not a big fan of the menu selection. They only have cream soups, and the second option isn't very appetizing.
People love it, St. Petersburg I wish I was munching on a pastry right now, because I've bought from this place many times before. The pastries are always delicious. People love it, St. Petersburg People love it, St. Petersburg When I look at the pastries, I'm overwhelmed by the options.

People love it, St. Petersburg People love it, St. PetersburgThey were baking buns right in front of me, so you can essentially buy them straight from the oven. The smell is amazing.
People love it, St. Petersburg People love it, St. PetersburgThe bread is pricier than what you'd find in a regular store, but it's definitely tastier. People love it, St. PetersburgI'm not a fan of sandwiches served in these ridiculously thick buns.
People love it, St. PetersburgThe drinks in bottles are pretty tasty, but they're way too sweet.

Inside the cafe: People love this place, St. Petersburg They had a system set up where you could heat up your food and grab utensils.
People love this place, St. Petersburg It was really tough to catch a moment without a bunch of people in the shot.
People love it, St. PetersburgThere are tables by the wall with comfortable sofas.
People love it, St. PetersburgYou can enjoy the panoramic view from the window. It was a pretty intense April snowstorm while I was there.
People love it, St. PetersburgInside, it's cozy and warm.
People love it, St. PetersburgThe bathroom in the establishment is only one, and there were lines here too. The bathroom is in pretty rough shape, and the doors are scratched. With so many customers, it's either that they can't keep up with cleaning or they just don't feel like it.
People love it, St. PetersburgMy meal:
My lunch cost me 309 rubles.
People love this place in St. PetersburgI was really impressed with the bread that came with the meal. It was super fresh and airy, and I couldn't resist having just a couple of slices.

People love this place in St. PetersburgYou get to customize your salad with your own ingredients.
People love this place in St. PetersburgI had the salad with Chinese cabbage, and while it was a bit different from the traditional Caesar I'm used to, it was still pretty good. It's a great option for a quick lunch, and the ingredients were super fresh. I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars.
People love this place in St. PetersburgI even enjoyed the tea that came in a packet - it was just what I needed on a cold day like that.
"People love it" in St. PetersburgMY TAKEAWAYS:
I'm a fan of this place because it's reliable and has locations all over the city. If I need a quick bite, I'll swing by here. The prices are pretty reasonable, the food tastes great, and I don't have any stomach issues after eating here. My only gripe is the name - it's a bit of a turn-off, but I can overlook that given the other perks.
This place is a solid option for a quick bite in St. Petersburg. It's not the most exciting place, but it gets the job done.
I'd recommend "People Love" for a quick snack or to grab some baked goods.
