Hello fellow mums!
I'm sharing my honest review of Pampers Premium Cea diapers, a well-known brand that's been a staple in many households. In this review, I'll be comparing three types of nappies, including the Premium Cea range.
Pampers Premium Cea
My journey with Pampers began with their NewBaby-Dry nappies, which were a great choice for my first two kids. However, when my third child arrived, I encountered some issues with leakage. This led me to try out smaller packs from other manufacturers, including Pampers Premium Cea.
Pampers Premium Cea are a popular choice among parents, and for good reason. They're widely available in regular stores and can be purchased at a discounted price from Detsky Mir, which offers discounts, promo codes, and rewards points that can be redeemed later. The discounted price for a pack of 66 nappies is 1200 rubles.
Each nappy costs 18 rubles when buying this pack, making them a cost-effective option. However, if you prefer to buy them individually, you'll find them in pharmacies at a significantly higher price of 30 rubles.
As a parent, I'm always on the lookout for nappies that offer good value for money. With Pampers Premium Cea, I've found that they last for around 9.5 days, which means I need to purchase at least three packs for a month. This works out to a minimum of 3600 rubles, which is a significant investment.
Premium Cea is indeed more expensive than Baby-Dry, but the difference is not drastic. If you're choosing a Pampers brand, I'd recommend going with Premium Cea. We're currently using the one-size option, which suits our 3.9 kg baby perfectly. The nappy doesn't chafe or put pressure on their skin, making it a great choice for everyday use.
Pampers Premium CeaThe packaging of 66 Pampers Premium Cea caught my eye - it's adorable with that little baby on it. The packaging also comes with a description of the diaper's benefits. The packaging is easy to open, but I went about it a different way. I'm not a huge fan of the design of these diapers. To me, it looks cheap.
Pampers Premium CeaI really like how it's easy to see the baby's bottom - and the spine, too. Plus, the size range is clearly marked on the diaper. When I compare Premium Cea to Baby-Dry in terms of looks, I don't see a huge difference. But when I touch them, I can tell they're different.
Pampers Premium Cea and Baby-DryPremium Cea is way softer than Baby-Dry. And the biggest difference is the inner layer of the diaper. Pampers Premium Cea и Baby-DryThe photo really shows the difference. I think it's pretty clear without me saying anything. Unfortunately, Baby-Dry falls short! Because there are no absorbent pores in it, and any liquid poop just sits on the surface and can cause serious irritation to your baby's bum. The adhesive strips on Premium Cea aren't that strong and often come loose when you try to take them off and put them back on.
The biggest letdown is that there's no back strap to secure it in place. In reality, it's all just held together by the adhesive strips. And there's no snug fit against the back either.
Of course, Manu is the clear winner here! With its back strap and comfortable fit, it's a much better option. By the way, if you compare the seat depth of Manu and Premium Cea, Manu has a more generous seat depth, which actually helps prevent hip dysplasia!
Manu Premium и Pampers Premium CeaAnd one more thing I'll say about the inner layer of Premium Cea – it's super soft. The pores are deep and dense, which means it absorbs liquid really well and deep down.
When we're dealing with liquid poop, the Premium Cea diaper does a great job of absorbing it quickly. But if it's more of a paste-like consistency, it tends to stay on the surface. The pores do help with pee, though – it gets absorbed really well.
I'm really impressed with how quickly and reliably these absorb liquid. Even when the diaper is dirty, there's no strong smell. The surface of the diaper stays dry and warm, and my child's skin feels great without any stickiness, moisture, or irritation.
Pampers Premium CeaPampers Premium CeaPremium Cea absorbs liquid stool much better than Baby-Dry. Manu diapers are also great at absorbing liquid stool.
✅✅✅ My final comparison of Pampers Premium Cea (1), Baby-Dry (2), and Manu Premium (3) diapers based on my criteria!

Odor 3 nonexistent. Dirty diaper allows less odor to pass through

Pampers Premium Cea Pampers Premium Cea Soakability 2 is a total disaster! These Pampers are cold, sticky, and wet
Soakability 3 is on a whole other level
Nighttime Leak-Free 1 – we've never made it through a single night! Even daytime naps aren't always leak-free
Nighttime Leak-Free 2 – they always leak...
Nighttime Leak-Free 3 – it's super rare for them to make it through the night.

✅✅✅ My impressions of using Pampers Premium Cea
I like that these diapers are easy to find in any store, they're always on sale, and the pack is really spacious.
The size chart fits our kid's weight now, but these diapers are clearly not designed for kids over 5 kg. I think they're good until 4.5 kg max. They don't irritate our kid's skin, and we haven't had to use any creams. I just try to change them often, usually when the indicator shows they're half full or a bit more.
What's annoying is the fit – it's not snug against the back and there's no elastic. The more active your kid is, the more the diaper will slide down and the gap between the diaper and the back will get bigger.
We get leaks mostly on the back and one side, even when the diaper is full or half full.
I'm not a fan of using the Pampers Premium Cea at night. It's a hassle having to wash the clothes, diaper, and sheet that the baby sleeps on afterwards. It's not exactly the most cost-effective option... and to be honest, I feel bad for the baby - I don't want them to sleep with a soggy back.
✔️✔️✔️ If I had to sum it up, the Manu diapers are the best out of the three in terms of quality and performance. The Pampers Premium Cea come in second, but I'd never buy them again - I just don't think they're worth it.
As for the worst, I'd have to say the Pampers New Baby-Dry are still the worst.
