I recently picked up this interactive cat toy, a ball with a tail, from Ozon in April 2025 for my cat. I wanted to share my experience with it.

First, let me tell you a bit about my cat:

My cat's 6 now, and he's a homebody who loves to get out and about on weekends when we're at our summer place.

He's always been a fan of games with a bit of a puzzle to them. And since he's had a taste of freedom, he gets bored with games and toys during the summer months. He just ignores them and leaves them lying around.

But when the summer's over and it's back to the usual routine, he starts getting into games again.

My cat really likes this interactive toy, but there's a catch: he needs a challenge. So, I have to hide it under a blanket or a bag every now and then to make it seem like it's alive, and then he'll go after it.

But if there's no challenge, he just sits there watching it.

This thing is super loud, flashing, and flying around the house like crazy! So, I can imagine that calm or timid pets might not like it.It's rechargeable. The charger came with it, and it's a Type-C cable.It's really easy to take apart if your cat gets its fur or a thread tangled up in it. And the tail is detachable too.This is a good toy, but it's not for every cat!
