After test-driving a few options, we narrowed it down to the Kia Sorento Prime, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Ford Explorer. But it was the Kia Mohave that really caught our eye.
At first, we were a bit underwhelmed by the Mohave's interior design. My husband joked that it looked like a closet on wheels, but we decided to give it a chance.
Now, after using it for a while, I'm happy to say that the Mohave has grown on us. The front-wheel drive is great for everyday driving, and the 4-wheel drive mode comes in handy when the roads get slippery.
The sound system is decent, and we've had some amazing listening experiences. The heated and cooled seats, rearview camera, and adjustable mirrors are all fantastic features.
One thing to note is that the cargo space can get a bit cramped when the third row is folded, but that's to be expected.
We did splurge on the tires, paying around 100,000 rubles for them. And let's just say that insurance is another story altogether.
I'm the primary driver, and my husband only occasionally uses the car. We've had some issues with the air suspension, which can make the car bounce around a bit.
