5. Instruction manual + passport. Make sure to read it, especially the safety guidelines.
How to use it right
You start by shining the Suncatcher in each nostril for 30 seconds , increasing the time by 10 seconds each day until you reach one minute. It's not just for the nose, though – you can also use it to warm up your ears, back, and chest, as well as your feet and any other areas that need some TLC. Just remember to follow the specific instructions for each zone, and don't scorch your kid's skin.
I used Solnyshko on myself and my kids purely for treating colds and sore throats. I want to say that the device actually works. It disinfects and slightly dries out the mucous membranes. Recovery happens faster, roughly 2 days sooner. But after using it, it's best not to use saline sprays to avoid irritating the nasal and throat mucous membranes.
To get a good and long-lasting effect, you need to use the lamp for at least three months. With the first or second cold, you might not immediately understand whether the lamp is working or not. I agree, it's a bit of a dubious device, and I approached it with a lot of skepticism at first.
Again, it's just an auxiliary procedure that doesn't replace the main treatment. But I did notice that recovery happened faster - that's for sure.
But! The device itself, even considering my desire to support the Russian manufacturer, the Nizhny Novgorod-based Gor'kovsky Plant, leaves a lot to be desired. I'm not against simple devices, but not to the point where they're made haphazardly and fall apart.
After three days, the lamp was barely lighting up.
It's very hard to insert the cone, as the gap between the lamp's flaps is already too big. The back panel fell off on the 4th day. You can only reattach it by soldering it, otherwise you can't fix it.
The lamp stopped being adjustable after a while - it's too loose.
I went back to exchange it. I bought the same one again and after a week, I had the same story - the lamp died, the back panel flew off. I returned the second one to the store and didn't buy anything else from them.
Then I ordered it through the marketplace at a much cheaper price, just 2.5 rubles, although it was much more basic in terms of accessories.
I have to say, I'm a fan of the quartz cleaning process itself, and I do see results. But this particular device? Not one I'd recommend. I think there might be a batch of faulty lamps from the factory, and overall, it's not designed for hassle-free use.
