We recently took a 3-hour flight from Ufa to Sochi with NordWind Airlines, and we're excited to share our experience with you.
Initially, we booked our tickets with Ural Airlines, but due to a flight cancellation, we had to switch to NordWind Airlines. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the tickets were even cheaper than our original booking, and we got to fly on a massive Airbus A330-300.
To ensure that we wouldn't be seated apart, we purchased paid seats, which turned out to be a great decision. The seats were located in the rear of the plane, and we had plenty of legroom. We also appreciated the fact that the airline allowed us to bring our hand luggage, which was a convenient option.
However, our experience was not without its challenges. The airport was crowded, and the check-in process took longer than expected. Once on the plane, we were surprised to find that the seats were quite narrow, and my husband had to sit with his legs splayed out in front of him. The cabin was also quite dirty, with worn-out seats and a general air of neglect.
Despite these issues, we were impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the flight attendants. They were attentive, helpful, and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the flight. The in-flight meal service was also a highlight, with a variety of options available at a reasonable price.
Overall, our experience with NordWind Airlines was mixed. While we appreciated the convenience and affordability of the flight, we were disappointed by the poor condition of the plane and the long check-in process. However, we would still recommend the airline to others, especially if you're looking for a budget-friendly option.
