I've been experimenting with Noopept, a nootropic that's made a huge difference in my life.
I've always struggled with anxiety, and it's something I've learned to live with over the years. But when I started taking Noopept, I was hoping it would help me manage my stress levels and maybe even improve my memory.
So, where can you buy Noopept? You can easily find it at any pharmacy, and it's pretty affordable at around 500 rubles.
When it comes to packaging, I'll say it's super simple – just a small box that fits easily in my bag. The back of the packaging has a brief summary of the main information, but it's worth noting that the indications aren't all listed here. This medication has a pretty broad range of uses, so it's essential to check out the instructions inside the packaging for everything you need to know.
Lecco Noopept MedicationThe packaging contains 50 tablets, and I haven't seen any other packaging sizes. I guess the marketing geniuses decided that a 1.5-month course would be a good idea, but you're usually left with a bunch of unused tablets. I think it would be more convenient if the tablets were packaged in a container, especially since they're so small. But that wouldn't be profitable, so we get two plastic sheets with 25 tablets each.
My experience with the medication was pretty straightforward – I stuck to the 20mg dosage, taking two tablets per day. I'd recommend taking one pill after breakfast and the second after lunch. I wouldn't recommend taking it in the evening, and I didn't test why, but I'm guessing it's because it'd be hard to fall asleep – Noopept really kept me alert and active.
Lecco NoopeptThe pill itself is tiny, easy to swallow, but it tastes slightly bitter, so I tried to wash it down as quickly as possible.
Lecco NoopeptI first tried Noopept because of anxiety. I've had this issue since childhood, and I get really bad panic attacks that leave me feeling like I've been run over by a truck for the rest of the day. To be honest, the fear of another panic attack just makes my anxiety worse, creating this vicious cycle.
Of course, I've tried to 'cure' it (in quotes, because I don't think it's something that can be fixed), but essentially, you just have to learn to live with it and extend the periods of remission. Firstly, you need to understand and accept that this is how your brain works. Secondly, you need to catch the moment when your anxiety starts to spiral out of control.
For me, this usually happens when I'm trying to fall asleep – my mind starts racing with fears and thoughts (everyone's are different, mine's just irrational panic), and it gets worse from there. If you notice this happening, it's essential to take control of the situation.
I started taking Noopept, and I have to say, I didn't expect anything huge to happen, but after a few days, I noticed I was able to fall asleep almost without any racing thoughts. Then, I'd just fall asleep and that's it. Sleep became peaceful and deep, and my morning wake-ups were energized.
Lekko Noopept Medicinal SupplementI noticed a boost in concentration, especially when I used to get anxious and constantly switch between tasks, trying to get everything done and feeling overwhelmed. I had almost no anxious thoughts, even during the nootropic course. After that, this state lasted for about 2 months.
Lekko Noopept Medicinal SupplementNaturally, I also noticed a difference in memory. I don't usually have problems with it, but while taking Noopept, I noticed I could remember tasks without writing them down. My usual jumbled thoughts and actions were organized, but unfortunately, this effect wears off.
By the way, I've already taken multiple courses, but side effects have never occurred. The only thing I do is take breaks every 6 months or so, as I'm afraid of developing tolerance.
Of course, besides nootropics, I've discovered many life hacks for managing anxiety. Maybe my tips will help someone:
1. Muscle relaxation using the Jacobson method – it helps when anxiety starts to build up.
2. Engaging in sports in general reduces anxiety, so I've tried almost all types. My favorites are weightlifting with heavy weights, yoga, and swimming. I see the least effect from cycling.
3. 10,000 steps, especially before bed, plus airing out my bedroom.
4. Vipassana meditation – it helps me understand calmness and my body.
5. Honestly, I don't read any news, not even about celebrities or actors. As soon as I feel anxious, I stop reading the news feed for a week and turn off notifications. Then, when I start feeling better, I can catch up on what I missed.
P.S. These tips are just for maintaining a peaceful life when you're anxious. If you're dealing with big problems, you need help from a therapist, neurologist, or psychologist. They'll probably prescribe antidepressants, but you still need to reassess your lifestyle for inner peace.
