Editor's Summary
I've been using the Red drink from NL for a few weeks now, and it's been a total game changer for my bloating and swelling issues. I've tried other 'drains' and 'cleanses' before, but this one's been the most effective so far. Of course, I gotta emphasize that it's not a magic pill - you still need to eat right and exercise regularly. But if you're looking for a natural way to reduce water retention, I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot. Just remember to listen to your body and not push yourself too hard, especially if you've got any underlying health conditions. I've noticed a big difference in just a few days, and I feel way more energized and confident. Plus, it tastes great, even if you're not a fan of sweet drinks. The best part? It's super easy to incorporate into your daily routine - just mix it with water and drink it down. I've been mixing it with my morning coffee and it's become a part of my daily ritual. I've also noticed that it supports healthy digestion and reduces bloating, which is a total win in my book. And the best part? It's affordable and worth every penny, especially considering the results. I've tried other similar products before, but this one's been the most effective and easiest to use. So, if you're looking for a natural way to reduce water retention and feel more energized, I'd definitely recommend giving the Red drink from NL a try.
Specifications
Hello everyone!
I'm not a consultant for NL International, so my review will be straight from a consumer's perspective.
Draineffect RED Low CarbI've gotta say, all these 'drains' and 'cleanses' are only for people with a healthy body and no chronic illnesses. I've seen some reviews where people claim to have cleaned their kidneys with these teas and ended up with a flare-up of pyelonephritis or gastritis. Of course, the kidneys and stomach take a beating! All diets and 'cleanses' are only suitable for people with a healthy body - no problems with the digestive system, kidneys, liver, etc. If you're unsure, consult a doctor.
So, what's the deal with these drinks?
After 40, I've got some weight issues and swelling. The excess weight is localized around my sides and waist, and it shows up as general puffiness. If I managed to lose some weight with spirulina (check out my review How spirulina reduced my waistline), the overall puffiness still didn't go away, and the weight loss wasn't consistent. I didn't want to drink a diuretic because of its aggressive effects on my body. And then I stumbled upon this detox drink, Draineffect from NL International. I first tried the red 'Low Carb Red' and then the green 'Green'. It promised a gentle detox effect on the body. Both were okay with me.
Draineffect RED Low CarbBoth products are the first step in NL's weight loss program.
Draineffect RED Low CarbBefore starting weight loss and proper nutrition according to this program, you need to get rid of swelling and clean your body of toxins - i.e., go through the 'drain' process of your body.
This is exactly what Draineffect is for, but only if used properly and with the right diet.
So, what's in it?
Draineffect RED Low CarbAs we can see, the composition of both drinks is aimed at starting the weight loss process and getting rid of excess fluid - swelling. If you don't see it on your hands or face, it might be internal swelling (I learned this during my second pregnancy), which manifests as heaviness, puffiness, and excess volume.
As a result, these detox drinks do the following:
I love how these supplements work. They're like a gentle diuretic, helping your body get rid of excess water with ingredients like white tea, opuntia, lemongrass, and hibiscus.
They also help flush out toxins and clean your digestive system, liver, and kidneys with aloe, rhubarb, artichoke, peppermint, and tamarind extract.
And if you're struggling with cravings for sweet stuff, the red drink is your friend – it's got garcinia cambogia extract to keep you on track.
The green drink, on the other hand, is all about giving you a boost of energy with palatinose and maltodextrin.
What's inside?
Each box comes with 20 sticks of powder that you mix with water. As you can see, they're pretty neat.
Draineffect RED Low CarbConsidering the price – around 1,000 to 1,100 rubles – each serving costs just 50 to 55 rubles. That's a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.
How to use it?
The company recommends taking it twice a day, 30 minutes before breakfast and lunch. I did that for the first 10 days, but then I started taking it just once in the morning. You can do whatever works best for you, but I think it's a good idea to stick to the schedule for the first week or so.
One thing to keep in mind is to drink plenty of water throughout the day – at least 1.5 to 2 liters. Ideally, aim for 30 milliliters of water per kilogram of body weight.
I tried to do that, but I'm pretty sure I didn't quite hit the 2-liter mark every day.
The sticks open easily, and the powder mixes well with water.
Draineffect RED Low CarbAfter shaking it up with warm water, you get a lovely yellow-green and red drink.
Draineffect RED Low CarbBoth drinks taste pretty great – like oxygen cocktails with herbs and a bit of juice. The red one has a slightly sweet, grape-like flavor, while the green one is more minty and refreshing.
Using it effectively
Of course, if you're eating a ton of junk food, these supplements won't do much for you. So, for the best results, try to stick to some basic healthy eating rules – like eating at least some fruits and veggies, and avoiding too much sugar and processed stuff.
I've found that eating more fruits in the morning really helps with water retention. And, of course, I've completely avoided alcohol, as it can cause severe water retention. I've also increased my physical activity.
After 10 days of using both drinks (I've been alternating between them)
I've seen a significant reduction in water retention on my face and body (my fingers, wrists, and ankles)My waistline has shrunk from 91cm to 87cmI've lost 1.4kg of weightMy body has really toned up, thanks to reduced water retention and sticking to a healthy diet and regular exerciseI've also noticed a reduction in my cravings for sweet treats, especially during my evening tea breaksI've got the energy to take on additional moderate physical activitiesBut, I want to stress that this is just my personal experience, and I don't have any chronic kidney, liver, or digestive issues. If you're also over 40, have had kids, or have developed water retention and a 'spare tire' around your waist, and plan to stick to a healthy diet and regular exercise, I highly recommend trying Draineffect at the start of your weight loss and healthy living journey.
I plan to continue using both drinks. In my opinion, they work even better together, so I recommend using both (Red and Green), taking into account your personal taste preferences.
Thanks for reading, I hope my review was helpful and that you stay healthy!
