Editor's Summary

The Nikon D7500 is an excellent camera that offers great image quality, excellent autofocus performance, and good low-light capabilities. However, it's expensive and has some limitations.

Introduction

Hello everyone! In this review, I'll share my experience with the Nikon D7500 camera body. I upgraded from the Nikon D3500, and I'm excited to share my impressions.

I purchased the camera without a lens for 80,000 rubles. I ordered it online from DNS.

The camera came with a complete set, including a charger, instruction manual, and more.

Design and Build

The Nikon D7500 is a bit heavy, which can be inconvenient at times. It's heavier than the Nikon D3500.

I have a camera bag that I purchased separately, and it's very convenient to use.

Features and Performance

The camera has various shooting modes. I usually use manual mode. However, I wasn't impressed with the auto mode.

All the buttons are well-arranged, and I got used to them quickly.

Image Quality

The camera has a 1.5 crop factor and a non-full-frame sensor. I didn't expect much from it, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I used the following lenses:

Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 18-55 mm. A budget-friendly option for beginners. I wrote a review about it here.Nikon AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D. A great lens for portraits.Nikon 16-35mm f/4G ED VR AF-S Nikkor. A great option for landscape and reportage photography.

Pros:

- Excellent ISO performance, with a maximum sensitivity of 51200 and an extended ISO of 1640000.- Great autofocus performance, with 51 focus points, including 15 cross-type points.- Fast burst mode, with a maximum speed of 8 frames per second.- Good low-light performance, with minimal noise even at high ISOs.- Excellent video capabilities, with 4K resolution and 30fps.

Cons:

- Expensive, especially when compared to other cameras in its class.- Heavy and bulky, making it difficult to carry around.- Limited battery life, requiring frequent recharging.- No weather sealing, making it vulnerable to dust and moisture.- No built-in flash, requiring an external flash unit for indoor photography.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Nikon D7500 is an excellent camera that offers great image quality, excellent autofocus performance, and good low-light capabilities. However, it's expensive and has some limitations, such as limited battery life and no weather sealing.

I highly recommend this camera to experienced photographers who are looking for a high-quality camera that can deliver excellent results.
