My Experience at New Yorker
I've been a fan of the German store New Yorker for a while now, ever since I first discovered it during a trip to Sicily in 2014. I fell in love with the store's vast selection of clothing and accessories, and I've been hooked ever since.
One of my favorite things about New Yorker is the variety of clothing they offer. From lingerie and swimsuits to tops, shoes, and handbags, they have everything you need to create a complete outfit. I've been impressed with the mid-range prices, and I've found some amazing deals on sales.
My go-to section in the store is the lingerie and swimsuit section. I always find something I love, and the designs are always bright and beautiful. I've also been happy with the basics like tops and shoes. I've even picked up a pair of jeans here, and the variety of styles is amazing.
No discounts or promotions here, that's just the company's policy. But, I have seen them offer coupons for a discount when you buy a certain amount a few times during sales periods.
It's not uncommon to see prices on the shelves not updated in time for sales, and then you get a pleasant surprise at the checkout to find the item is even cheaper than the price tag says.
I've noticed lately that a lot of the clothing is made from synthetic materials. Of course, there are plenty of cotton items, especially t-shirts and men's underwear. But, for example, most dresses, tops, jackets, and pants are synthetic.
The background music in the store is on point! My favorite Latin tracks are super relaxing and make me want to shop even more!
Men's section:
New Yorker has a great selection of men's clothing, and I've found some amazing deals on sales. The store is always well-stocked, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Sample men's, it's always pretty quiet:
Last year I urgently needed a swimsuit, so I decided to check this place out. It just so happened there was a sale, and I bought a fantastic swimsuit for just 900 rubles! Plus, the top of the swimsuit can be styled in three different ways. I only used one of the options.
In the sun, it looks a bit brighter.
I've had my shoes for three years now. They're very comfortable! If I like something, I can wear it for years. Plus, it's worth it to buy two pairs of new shoes.
Henley T-shirt, with sleeves like a basketball player's: cotton:

REVIEW UPDATE. I bought this dress on sale for 699 rubles. There's also a separate review for it.
Today's visit.
Today, I decided to try on a 100% cotton T-shirt:
Dress with a short skirt, but it wasn't my thing because the bra straps are sticking out, I can just wear it without the bra, but that's not an option for me:
Tops in different colors:
Shorts, t-shirt, all for 2400 rubles, plus a hat was included. I don't wear hats often, but my husband loved them
Blouse, turned out to be huge, I don't like oversized clothes.
I found these khaki shorts for 399 rubles, thought about buying them. Then I took a closer look, and the other ones cost 699 rubles. I approached the sales consultant and it turned out they missed the discount, didn't remove the discounted price. So, the discounts here are real!
I added shorts and jeans to my review.
After my second visit to the store, I ended up buying these shorts for 399 rubles with a discount. Check out my review of Blue Shorts. I tried almost all the colors of these shorts to get the perfect fit.
I also bought new jeans for 1999, and the size S fits perfectly.
I found this little skirt in my closet, and I bought it from this store too - the blue one on the left. I bought it about a year and a half ago. It's a nice fabric, pleated, mini. Speaking of ice cream, I wrote a review on it: A Divine Taste If It Weren't for My Short Skirt, There Wouldn't Have Been Any Ice Cream!
I've got to say, I bought this white dress for my daughter's kindergarten graduation, and it's been a lifesaver during my third pregnancy. It's already been six years since I bought it, and it still looks brand new – I only wore it a handful of times.
I recently picked up an anime-style t-shirt for 399 rubles:
The entire swimsuit section:
Our second daughter loves the TV show Wednesday, and she found a t-shirt with the character for 1699 rubles. But, she's still too small for it. You can often find t-shirts with popular characters here.
My favorite red shoes, which our beloved cat got its paws on, have turned out to be something like this:
They're comfortable, with heels, but I only wear them very rarely.
Actually, our cats are great! There's a story about our third cat - you can read about it in Three Cats. Psychological Trauma for Life...or What Kind of Cruel People Are There.
I did, of course, visit my favorite department:
I've got to say, I'm really loving the leopard print! The underwear is especially on point.
The shorts come in a variety of fabrics, from denim to other materials:
They had the clothes on mannequins and in the showroom arranged in a way that lets you create a cohesive look.
I noticed they had a lot of orange-colored clothes, but not much of this year's trendy color, viva magenta.
💖 Winter Sale 2025.
I was excited to see what deals I could find. And, let me tell you, there's a ton of great stuff on offer at prices that are hard to beat!
