Hello, everyone!
I'm always excited to share my travel experiences.
This time, I wanted to visit Naroch, specifically Narochansky Beach, which is basically a territory with sanatoriums near Naroch. The only question is the price.
Looking for a budget-friendly getaway? Then this is the place to be.
The cost of the package is 1,176 rubles for 15 days, plus a 27-ruble tourist commission fee. For Russians, the price is a bit higher at 40,000 Russian rubles.
The package includes food, accommodation, and minimal treatment – a total of five procedures.
You'll need a doctor's note with a diagnosis and a gynecologist's appointment, plus an X-ray.
You also get five free massage sessions per zone.
I was prescribed magnetic therapy, a pine-scented bath, a salt room, and more.
The oxygen cocktail is also on the house.
However, you can also opt for a package without treatment – that'll be cheaper.
Keep in mind that if you're just looking to have fun or explore the Naroch region, this sanatorium might be a bit dull.
But if you have a car and aren't tied down to the treatments, the economy option is the way to go.

Main building
There are four residential three-story buildings on the sanatorium's territory in total – two new ones and two older ones. I stayed in the second one.
All the buildings have great views and spacious balconies.
View from the balconyI was really pleased with the space on my balcony. It had a clothes drying rack, which was super convenient.
I booked the standard two-person room, but then my neighbor moved in with me, so it ended up being a fun little roommate situation!
Beds
The room came with towels, soap, and a sheet for any procedures you might need. It was all really well-stocked.
Table and chairsThe room also had a table, chairs, dressers, a TV with all the channels and the ability to rewind, which was awesome. And the best part? It had a fridge and an electric kettle, which was a total game-changer for me.
FridgeThe room had a big mirror on the wall, which was really nice.
BedsThere was also a closet, but it was super old and reminded me of my college dorm room. It was pretty funny, actually.
The bathroom was standard, but it was super clean and had a combined shower and toilet area.
SinkThe toilet was spotless and really well-maintained.
BathroomThe shower cubicle was also a great bonus, especially since I'm a bit of a neat freak.
ShowerTo get the room keys, you need to register at the reception desk.
ReceptionThen I paid a commission fee at the cash desk. After that, I was given a referral to see a doctor the next day and a meal ticket for the same day.
I arrived around 14:40, but I missed lunch, so I ended up eating dinner later than 16:30. Later, I only managed to grab a bite in the canteen.
Meals are served three times a day, with a snack and yogurt provided in the evening.
CanteenEach guest has a designated table and seat.
CanteenThere are a maximum of five people per table.Meals are served on a schedule, with the first breakfast starting at 9:00.
BreakfastI was excited to see the variety of coffee options available: Americano, chicory, and cappuccino.
By the third day, I got to choose from a Swedish table menu.
There were always three soup options to pick from.
Lunch
LunchDesserts were served for dinner, and I also got yogurt.
Fruits were always available: peaches, apples, pears, cheese puffs, chocolate bars, cookies, waffles, and halva.
Snack timeI wasn't hungry often, and Thursdays had Belarusian dishes on the menu.
You could also choose dinner with vegetables.
DinnerThe minimum package of procedures was included in the tour price, and you could also buy additional cosmetic services.
Cosmetic servicesI only bought access to the pool, which was located in the adjacent sanatorium.
One visit costs 10 rubles.
Sauna in another sanatoriumIt's convenient that all treatments are nearby, so you don't have to walk far.
Procedure roomThere are also comfortable sofas where you can wait for your turn.
Procedure roomI had a minimal set: magnet, pine bath, and massage.
BathThe bath lasted 15 minutes. The massage was 10 minutes per zone.
I went to the gym every day except weekends, doing 20 minutes of cardio until tomorrow.
All procedures were on schedule.
There were also outdoor exercise machines.
Mostly strength training. The usual treadmill, a few stationary bikes were in the gym.
Exercise machinesFitotherapy (tea) was available 5 days a week, and I also had an oxygen cocktail.
Cocktail HourI was surprised by how cozy the area around the sanatorium is, given its small size. The buildings are pretty close together, but it still feels like a peaceful retreat.
Sanatorium GroundsThere are plenty of big trees, mostly pines, which make for great oxygen therapy.
The Gondola RideThey've got a few fun photo ops, including a gondola ride. The flowerbeds are also super colorful, with a variety of roses on display.
Roses of all sorts are in bloom.
Roses Galore
RosesThere are also some adorable little gazebos where you can take a break near the building.
And, of course, they've got a petting zoo with some cute animals.
Deer, rabbits, pheasants, peacocks, chickens, and geese are all on display.
Petting Zoo
One of the best things about this resort is the range of activities and services they offer.
Services for rent They've got bike rentals, which is perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside. There's also a sauna, which is great for relaxing after a long day.
And, of course, there's a bar where you can grab a drink and socialize with other guests.
As for entertainment, they've got karaoke, tennis, movie nights, a disco, and even a disco in the neighboring resort. They also offer paid excursions and concerts featuring local Belarusian performers – tickets are just 25 roubles.
Sauna
Bar
Medvedi They've also got a salt therapy room in the neighboring building, where you can breathe in the benefits of salt while listening to soothing music. Each session lasts 30 minutes.
Salt therapy It's like being on the beach, minus the sunburn. Before the session, they'll give you a special suit and slippers to wear.
Breathe in the benefits
Speleotherapy
SpeleotherapyThis procedure really works wonders for your bronchi. It boosts your immune system like crazy.15 minutes on foot to get there.
Beach:
Just 10 minutes to the beach.
Terrain is a hiking trail with some elevation changes.
Path to the beachThere's a bench and a lamp every 10 meters or so.
Path to the beachThe beach itself has a nice shore, a pier, but swimming is strictly forbidden due to the large number of ducks. Be careful not to get an allergic reaction.
Beach shoreBut people still swim, just to be safe. You should only stay in the water for 5 minutes max, and then rinse off in a nearby stream.
A Beachside GetawayThere's a small cafe nearby with affordable prices. You can grab a cold treat, a glass of kvass, a beer, or a milkshake.
Beachside CafeThe center is just a 15-minute walk away.
They also have comfy benches where you can sit by the water.
You can rent catamarans, yachts, or quad bikes for some fun in the sun.
The CenterThe rental prices range from 10 to 250 rubles for a 1-hour ride.
The CenterYou can also grab a bite at the cafe in the center - prices are similar to what you'd find in Minsk.
But the exterior is just mesmerizing.
Cafe in the CenterOrdering takes only about 10 minutes.
Ice Cream and TeaYou can get a cup of tea and two ice creams for 40 rubles.
NarочьI got lucky with the weather. You can even book a transfer back to Minsk from the resort, and they'll pick you up from the sanatorium.
The return ticket costs 23 rubles, and it takes 2.5 hours to get to the central bus station.
You can also get there by car - it's about 160 km according to my GPS.
I was pleasantly surprised at first, thinking I was right in the center of Narочь. But then I realized everything is actually really close together, and I was happy about that.
It's a cozy and peaceful place, surrounded by a forest, where people even go to pick wild mushrooms and cook them in the kitchen.
There's a natural spring with water, and all the essentials are provided in the room.
On a day like today, I'd be miserable outside, on the beach, trying to get some sun.
But I got to enjoy a relaxing day in nature, breathing in that fresh oxygen.
I think the 10-day package is a good length - my 15 days were a bit too long, and I ended up cutting my trip short by three days.
I'm so glad I ended up here, and if you get the chance to visit Narочь, don't worry - you can't go wrong. Just make sure you're in a good mood.
With love, Maria 277! Wishing you all good health and a fantastic summer!
