Hello everyone!xa0
I stumbled upon this project through reviews, and I have to say, it piqued my interest. So far, there are 4 episodes out, and I've seen them all. What struck me was the complete obsession with youth and beauty, and how far people are willing to go to achieve it.
What I got myself into (Friday) reviewsWhat caught my attention? I'm glad I never tried anything like this, and I don't plan on it.

DESCRIPTIONxa0
This show is all about the disastrous beauty procedures people undergo. The consequences are so severe that only surgery can fix them, and recovery can take years. It's a wild ride, and I'm not even kidding.
There's no limit to perfection
I watched the episodes and couldn't understand why beautiful women would want to undergo more procedures to 'perfect' themselves. Don't they already have their own unique qualities? Why do they feel the need to conform to unattainable standards? And after all the corrections, they end up looking like clones of each other. I barely recognized Olga Buzova in one of the shows.
Why do it? That's the million-dollar question.

Each episode features a different cosmetic procedure. The first one was about the 'triangle of death.' It's the area around your nose and lips. Doctors even advise against popping pimples in this zone, as it can be fatal. That's just terrifying. Who hasn't popped a pimple at some point? I think many of us still do from time to time.
My Worst Decisions (Episode 1): Alisha Arshavin's Nose Story
I'm still trying to wrap my head around Alisha Arshavin's story. Many of you might have heard about it. When her husband, Andrey Arshavin, lost his nose, it was like something out of a Gogol novel. And I'm not even joking – it's a truly terrifying tale.
Alisha had a beautiful nose, but she still decided to get a filler injection to make it even more beautiful??? What was she thinking? And the craziest part is that her husband still left her after she lost her nose. But what really got me was when Alisha started wondering if her nose loss was some kind of karma punishment. Who thinks like that?

The second story was about Collagen: Beauty or Tears?
A young girl with beautiful Slavic features decided to get collagen injections to fix her thin skin under her eyes. She even went to Turkey for it. But, of course, something went wrong. And now she's got 'fat caterpillars' under her eyes. I felt so bad for her. She was working abroad, super successful, and had that perfect face.
My Worst Decisions (Episode 1): Alisha Arshavin's Nose Story
As I was watching, I wondered if she was just tired of applying concealer under her eyes every day. I mean, it's not like it's going to last forever.
In this story, they consulted a Korean surgeon who explained these types of injections. You know, the ones that make Korean celebrities look like porcelain dolls. Celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, and Jay Leno have had these procedures, and they look amazing. But not so much for our heroine. The episode shows how her story unfolded and ended.

The third episode was Ouch! Brows!
Let's be real, I've tried my fair share of brow procedures - from tweezing with a pair of scissors to threading, waxing, and even tattooing. Each one comes with its own set of risks, like over-tweezing, blue pigmentation, or an uneven shape. And don't even get me started on the pain!
My friends and I took the plunge, investing in a course and trying it out on ourselves. One of them even started offering brow services to her clients!
But then came the disaster - the infamous 'Brow Zombie' procedure. Let's just say it's a wild ride.

Episode 4: Vaseline Lips
What did I do? (Friday) reviewsSo, you're wondering what happened. I am too. How and why did it all go down? And what did my friends and I have to go through? It's a real-life cautionary tale!

MY OPINIONxa0
I loved the format of the show. Each episode delves into the story of a different woman and explores ways to fix things. And it's not a quick fix - it's a long-term solution.
What did I do? (Friday) reviewsI also appreciated the show's focus on plastic surgery and beauty procedures. They interview experts from all over Russia and provide recommendations on who to see and where to go.But what really stood out to me was how similar all the women looked. They all had similar features - big lips, blonde hair, and a certain... uniformity.
And don't even get me started on the noses - they all looked like they had been 'done'.
It's like they're all trying to fit into some sort of beauty mold. Can we even talk about individuality anymore?
What I Did (Friday) reviews I've worked with a girl I knew 15 years ago. She was stunning - dark-haired, petite, with a beautiful figure and natural breasts. Fast forward 10 years, and I stumbled upon her picture again. And I didn't even recognize her. I wouldn't have recognized her at all. Because she looked like a clone from TV. The lips, eyebrows, makeup, hair - it's unbelievable, but I can barely tell apart our pop stars. So, what's the point? In their pursuit of beauty, modern women forget about themselves. Their inner selves. Behind the glossy magazine cover, they lose themselves. They become one of...
I loved how one surgeon said that a face can't be hidden, you can't just cover it up. And you need to think 100 times before deciding to do anything with it. And if you do decide, make sure to choose your specialist very carefully.
Look, I don't want to offend anyone with my review. Everyone makes their own decisions about their bodies. I just think that any kind of intervention should only be done on medical advice.
FINAL VERDICTI recommend the Friday TV show 'What I Did'. Maybe it'll make someone think twice before taking a drastic step.
The pros are:
It's thought-provokingIt's eye-openingThe cons are:
It's too revealingI'm looking forward to the next episode. And I'm hoping that all the women featured in the show will get the help they need.
What I Did (Friday) reviews4 stars!
Thanks to everyone who's taken the time to read my review! I hope it's been helpful! Take care of yourselves and your loved ones!!!
