Editor's Summary
I'm a sucker for games that bring back nostalgic memories, and My Talking Tom 2 does just that. This app is like a modern Tamagotchi, but way more advanced and fun. You get to care for your own virtual cat, feed it, play with it, and even customize its appearance. The graphics are top-notch, and the gameplay is super engaging. I've been playing it nonstop since I downloaded it.
Specifications
Hello everyone!
I'm writing a review today on a pretty unusual topic for me - the app-game "My Talking Tom 2".
I'm not going to compare it to the first version, as I didn't play it much and still don't (it's just not my thing). I much prefer the second part of the game.
It's got a pretty decent number of downloads, despite not having a perfect rating.
Personally, I really like "Tom 2" - the graphics, the variety of mini-games, and the fact that you have to take care of a cat.
It grows and develops from level to level. The more attention you give it, the faster Tom grows.
At the beginning of the game, you have to take him to the bathroom all the time,
bath him,
feed him,
and of course, play with him.
Fortunately, the selection of toys is more than suitable and varied.
When all the green circles are filled in, you can move on to the next level, which is shown in the top left corner.
If there's a number in the bottom right corner of the plane, you can send Tom on a flight to one of the kingdoms that opens up after completing a level.
For example, when I picked one of the chests, I got this awesome loot.
Food,
toys,
coins,
stars,
and gifts. I took a screenshot from two chests.
Let's move on.
You can dress up your kitten in a costume, hat, or even glasses in the wardrobe.
You can earn these items either by buying them with coins or stars, or by winning them from the in-flight magazine.
I've got a soft spot for these mini-games.
They're all about collecting sets for in-flight flights. One flight is worth 1000 green circles with a plane on them.
"Cosmic Trails"
"Страшный поезд" "Подводное приключение"One of the coolest features is that you can sometimes multiply your "samolyotiki" by five, which lets you earn flights way faster. Pretty cool that there's another living character in the game besides Tom - a quirky little cat assistant. It can even play games with you, and you can choose from different assistants.
I've gotta say, "My Talking Tom 2" is a really fun and engaging toy. And I'm still not done raving about it.
I'm reminded of "Tamagotchi," that Japanese game from the 90s. You had to take care of the pet (in my case, it was a dog, but I think some people had cats or birds). But "Tom 2" is way more advanced and modern. The core idea's the same, though.
I'm really enjoying playing this app, and it's not taking up too much space on my phone - only 172 MB so far.
The good:
Great graphics;A ton of mini-games;Loads of features to care for your pet;It doesn't crash (although that's partly due to my phone); It's not eating up my phone's memory. The not-so-good:
Sometimes you need a pretty fast internet connection for some of the games inside the app; There's a lot of ads. And, funnily enough, my niece loves playing it just as much as I do.
One more thing - before you quit the game, make sure you put the kitten to bed, or it'll be all grumpy when you start again. Trust me on that one.
I highly recommend "My Talking Tom 2"!
