The Renault Sandero Stepway 2017 is a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable and feature-packed compact crossover. With its rugged design and spacious interior, it's perfect for daily driving and light off-road adventures. I've had my hands on one for a while now, and I'm impressed with its ease of use and build quality.

My Renault Sandero Stepway Review: A City Car That Delivers

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've been driving my Renault Sandero Stepway for a few months now, and I'm really impressed with how it's handled the city streets. The compact size makes it a breeze to park and maneuver in tight spots, and the fuel efficiency is amazing. I've been getting an average of 25 miles per gallon, which is way better than I expected. The interior is surprisingly spacious, with plenty of room for passengers and cargo. The build quality is solid, with a comfortable ride and decent sound insulation. One thing that's really stood out to me is the value for money - this car is a steal for the price. Sure, it's not the most powerful engine, but it gets the job done. I've been using it for daily commutes and errands, and it's been a reliable companion. The only downside is the infotainment system, which can be a bit finicky at times. But overall, I'm really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable city car.

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by to check out my review of the Renault Sandero Stepway. I'll be sharing my thoughts on this trusty ride, so grab a cup of coffee and let's get started!

Cruise Control is a great feature, especially during summer. I've used it without any issues, and it's been a game-changer for me. The control is only available at the front.Heated Seats are available only at the front, and they're single-zone. The heating takes a while to kick in, and the controls are located near the door, on the side of the seat. It looks like a regular light switch.Cruise Control allows you to set a speed and let the car do the rest. You can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the view. I haven't used it once, but it's a nice feature to have.Multi-function Steering Wheel is a great feature that allows you to stay focused on the road. With it, you can take calls, adjust the music, or change tracks without taking your hands off the wheel.Audiophile System is the standard issue, nothing too fancy. It comes with a USB port and a basic radio.Airbags are available in four units at the front.
I was impressed with the additional features I got personally installed, including winter tires, alarm with automatic start, 8 sensor parking sensors, tinting, and seat covers.
winter tires alarm with automatic start 8 sensor parking sensors tinting seat covers The exterior design is simple and unpretentious. This brand doesn't put a lot of emphasis on looks. Everything is straightforward and uncomplicated.
The dashboard is easy to use and straightforward. The onboard computer is simple to operate.
The ground clearance of 195mm is the main reason I chose this car. It allows me to drive in the city and countryside without worrying about potholes and bumps. When parking, I don't have any problems, as the car is passable and doesn't scrape against the curb.
The tire is 16 inches in radius, with a size of 205/55.
The trunk is small but spacious, with a capacity of 320 liters.
The salon is small but comfortable.
I've gotta say, shifting through the five-speed manual is an absolute breeze. It's one of those things that just feels natural, you know?
The front-facing headlights could be a bit brighter, to be honest.
Instrument panel
The door mirrors have electric adjustment, which is a nice touch.

I'm running the 92-octane fuel, but I've heard you can get away with 95 if you need to. The front-wheel drive helps with fuel efficiency, and the 82 horsepower isn't bad for a city car. I've managed to get it up to 135 km/h, but it's not exactly a rocket ship.
For a city car and a rural car, this thing is perfect. It's calm, it's not too aggressive, and it's easy to handle and maintain.
The golden finish is a real head-turner – it's nice and shiny, and it doesn't show dirt or scratches as much as you'd expect.
The roof rack has tie-downs, and you can add a trunk if you want to.
Maintenance is pretty standard, with average costs coming in around 8-10 thousand rubles.
I'd definitely recommend this car – I'm giving it a solid 5 stars.
