Specifications
Hello everyone, and welcome back to my channel!
I'm super stoked to share my experience with Yandex Tasks. I'd been hearing a lot about it, and I was eager to give it a shot. With my flexible work schedule, I figured it was worth a try.
So, what's the deal with Yandex Tasks? Well, it's exclusively for freelancers, and it connects you with clients who need help with various tasks. I was curious to see how it worked, and I'm glad I did.
Interface and ease of use:
One of the things that really stood out to me was how user-friendly the interface is. They've got a dedicated app for your phone, and you can also access it from your computer. I've been using both, and it's super intuitive. However, there are some tasks that can only be completed on either your computer or phone. I've been doing a mix of both, and while it's easier to use the computer, the mobile experience can be a bit clunky. Sometimes the images take a while to load, and you end up having to scroll all the way down to see the entire task.
When you access the website from your computer, you'll see five small icons on the left-hand side.
1. Tasks: This is where you'll find all the available tasks to complete. You can filter them by new, recommended, and more.
The filters for the tasks are located on the left-hand side as well.
2. In progress: This is where you'll find the tasks you're currently working on. If you get sidetracked or close the tab, you can always come back to it using this icon.
3. Rewards: Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the rewards system. Yandex gives you some sort of badge for completing tasks, but it doesn't really give you anything tangible or affect your overall experience.
4. Balance: This is where you'll see your earnings. You can view your total balance, withdraw funds, and even add new payment methods. I've got my YooMoney connected, and it shows me a history of my transactions with dates and amounts.
5. Pending: This is where you'll see the amount the client has on hold, as well as the tasks you've completed and how much you've earned from them. You'll also see any rejected tasks that the client didn't like.
Task types:
I've found that there are two main types of tasks.
1. Stationary tasks. These are the ones you complete from your computer or smartphone, usually from the comfort of your own home.
2. Field tasks. You need to head out to a specific location, usually indicated on a map, and complete the task according to the instructions. Most often, it involves taking photos of building facades, like I did when I stumbled upon a charging station for electric cars. The payment for that task was 260 rubles, but usually, it's around 20-50 rubles. In my city, there are field tasks available, but they're all located on the other side of town, so it's not worth the trip just for the extra 20-50 rubles.
If you think you'll be raking it in as soon as you sign up, think again. Most tasks require you to complete training and pass an exam before you can access the paid tasks. And let me tell you, it's not easy in many cases.
Stationary tasks are further divided.
There are tasks with delayed payment. This means the client will review your work and only pay you after they've verified its quality. I wouldn't recommend taking on tasks with a zero rating, as I've been kicked off several times. Although, the payment for these tasks is higher than usual.
Tasks 18+. These tasks involve explicit content, strong language, and other mature themes. As someone who's worked in the medical field, I've seen my fair share of disturbing images, but it didn't faze me.
Training tasks. Here, you learn, take an exam, and then you're paid for completing the tasks. If you fail the exam, some tasks offer a chance to retake it and improve your skills.
You can save your favorite tasks for later.
Payment for tasks:
Payment varies greatly. I've even seen tasks with no payment at all. Most tasks pay between 1-10 rubles, which I think is amazing. Not only do you get a minimum payout of 50 rubles, but the payment usually arrives within a few minutes, unlike some other platforms I've used.
Not all tasks are paid immediately, though. Sometimes, the client will review your work for several hours or even a week before paying you.
Who's this type of income suitable for?
I think it's essential to mention that this type of income requires effort and dedication. You'll need to be attentive, patient, and willing to learn. Some tasks may seem easy, but they're actually quite challenging. For example, tasks like marking dialogue with Alice require you to be meticulous and understand the context. In short, it's not a get-rich-quick scheme.
It's suitable for people who:
Are extremely detail-orientedCan sit through long tasksHave plenty of free timeAre patient and willing to learnWant to earn some extra money on the sideMy favorite tasks:
1. Surveys. I get paid between 7-10 rubles for them. There might be more, but that's what I've seen so far. It's just a matter of answering a few questions. Most of the time, these tasks have delayed payment, but I haven't been kicked off them. The price I usually get is 7 rubles.
2. Identify the actor from a photo. It's a fun task where you're shown a screenshot of an actor from a movie and you have to choose the correct answer from a list of options. It's not as easy as identifying big stars like Johnny Depp or Leonardo DiCaprio, but rather obscure actors. You have to use your common sense and observation skills to figure out who it is. I compare facial features and so on. The pay is 5.5 rubles.
3. Evaluating Alica's responses. This task involves reading creative information and dialogues with Alica's voice assistant and evaluating the correctness of her responses. It's a bit of a brain-twister, but if you put in the effort, you can earn a decent amount. The pay is 4.5 rubles per task.
4. Comparing voice messages. You're given two options and have to choose which one sounds better. The pay is around 2 rubles.

I've tried various tasks, and these are just some of the ones that were easy and interesting to do.
How much did I earn?
I earned 1470 rubles in a little over a week, which is still ongoing, by the way. I spent about 2-3 hours a day on tasks, around 3-4 times a week. To me, that's a pretty good income without too much hassle. It's enough to cover my internet and mobile bill. The amount you earn depends on your willingness to put in the time and effort.
My overall opinion:
I'm really impressed that you don't have to pay for training, not even a single ruble. Sometimes, you have to study, learn, and practice, but it's all for nothing if you fail the exam and the task just disappears. You've wasted your time, and that's frustrating.
It's not like you can just sit back and wait for 'easy' tasks to come to you. The competition is fierce, and you have to constantly refresh the page to catch the good ones. The good ones get taken quickly.
The payouts are always transferred to your Yandex Money account quickly and without any issues. Everything is transparent and honest here.
I haven't had to contact customer support, thankfully.
Some tasks disappear and never come back, which is a shame. They're replaced by new ones that you have to learn and figure out just as carefully.
But I'm not going to lie – I'm thrilled with the results! With minimal effort over two weeks, I earned almost 1500 rubles! That's a great safety net if you're trying to save up for something, like I am.
Be honest, if you're not ready to put in the effort and spend a few minutes each day, you'll probably end up disappointed. It's not exactly a walk in the park. To make some money here, you'll need to think critically and put in the work. But I have to say, I love the idea, and the execution is solid.
The Verdict:
The one thing that's really got me is the ridiculously long and sometimes boring learning process. I mean, they're not even paying you to do it (there are some exceptions, I guess). But overall, I'm really enjoying it and I find myself getting more and more engaged. It's way better than just mindlessly scrolling through my phone and reading random posts. I'd much rather spend my time doing something productive, which is exactly what I'm doing with Yandex Zadania. And I'd definitely recommend it.
