summarizeEditor's Summary
I've been using Mesosculpt for years, and it's been a total game-changer for me. I'm a dermatologist, and I prescribe it to my patients all the time. It's like a one-stop shop for all my skincare needs. I've tried other lipolytic treatments before, but they just didn't work as well. Mesosculpt is different - it's a long-term solution that actually delivers results. I've seen it work wonders on my patients, and I've experienced it myself. It's not a quick fix, but it's worth the investment. I've been doing Mesosculpt treatments every 1.5 to 2 months and Botox every 6-12 months, and it's been working great for me. I've also noticed that it's really effective on the lower third of the face and jawline, but it's still worth trying on the forehead. Just be patient, results usually take around 5 sessions, and they get even better with regular maintenance. It's essential to set realistic expectations with patients - there won't be any miracles after the second session, no matter what. They need to be willing to put in the time and effort, and ideally, create a calorie deficit. I've been meaning to write this review for two years now. I've been coming back to this page and trying to write something, but nothing seemed to stick.
Let's get straight to the point – my relationship with this lipolytic treatment has been a long one. I'll get into the stability aspect later.
I'm currently 32 years old. When I was 24, I had a Bisholt lump removed, and I don't regret it to this day. Although, I've had people reaching out to me in the comments, via personal messages, and even on social media, asking about the procedure. And 90% of the questions are basically the same – 'Didn't you regret doing it?'
A Bisholt lump is a massive substance that can take up a significant portion of your face. If a doctor removes it entirely, you might regret it later because your face will lose its structure and start sagging. My doctor only removed the lower part of the lump, which is the one that weighs down the lower third of your face, leaving the middle section intact.Six months after the procedure, I didn't have the sunken cheeks that you often see in 'before and after' photos. However, the lower third of my face felt significantly lighter, and I no longer felt like I had prominent cheeks.
I spent ages searching for photos to include in this review from that time period, and I had to delete most of them because they were either unflattering or taken at an awkward angle.Anyway, my cheeks ended up looking like normal cheeks, and my problem wasn't fully resolved.
It wasn't until 2021 that I decided to try lipolytics for the first time. There are countless lipolytic treatments on the market, and I opted for a basic one – I won't mention its name because, despite its positive effects, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
I'm a cosmetic doctor, so I've been doing procedures on myself for years.
This was a direct lipolytic treatment that works by breaking down the tissue it's injected into. Direct lipolytics are only allowed to be injected into areas with significant fat deposits, as injecting it into a muscle can cause muscle damage, and injecting it superficially can leave a scar. My chin was a bit of a mess, so I injected it without hesitation.
One hour after the direct lipolytic injection
One thing I've learned about MesoSculpt is that it's not a quick fix – it's a long-term solution.
I decided to try MesoSculpt as soon as I heard about it. I asked around for reviews, checked out before-and-after pics, and didn't come across a single negative review, so I went for it 💉
Before the injections, my face looked like this:
I've always had a bit of a problem with puffiness in the lower part of my face, and I've never had a well-defined jawline. So, most of my photos from the past 5-7 years have looked like this:
Or I'd try to cheat and pucker up my cheeks.
I've gotten pretty good at finding the right angles and lighting to hide my double chin over the years. But, despite my best efforts, I'd still get comments from people like, 'Wow, you're even fuller in person!' or 'I thought you were thinner in real life!' It was really frustrating, especially since I've always been pretty slender – 55 kg at 175 cm tall. It was like my face was a completely different story from my body.
The only downside of MesoSculpt is its price. In Moscow, you're lucky to find a place that charges less than 13,000 rubles for a single 1ml dose. Direct lipolysis injections are usually around 2-3 thousand rubles.I started getting MesoSculpt injections around the beginning of 2022 (I did 0.6ml in my jawline and 0.4ml in the lower third of my face) and I didn't see any noticeable results until after 4-5 procedures, spaced about 10 days apart.
The injections themselves are quick and painless – just a couple of tiny pinpricks without any numbing cream. The needle is super thin and specifically designed for cosmetic procedures. It wasn't like I suddenly had a chiseled jawline or anything – I just noticed that I was no longer puffing up all the time. My face looked great all the time, and I didn't have to worry about finding the right angles or pucker up my cheeks.
After five treatments, I switched to a maintenance procedure once a month, and that's what I did for 23 years, until I got pregnant.
I didn't get any treatments during pregnancy, of course. I stuck to basic cosmetics with approved ingredients and around months 7-8, towards the end of my pregnancy, I had these photos for reviews again:
I gained no more than 9 kilograms throughout my entire pregnancy, which is supposed to be pretty low, but a couple of days before giving birth, I looked like this:
My face looked like it did before the mesoscalp treatment - my chin, nose, and cheekbones were all back, and the swelling had gone down.
I wasn't too worried about it at the time, to be honest. I had other things on my mind, but I knew I'd be back to mesoscalp and Botox after breastfeeding.
After giving birth, I started getting regular lymphatic drainage massages, and I lost all the weight I gained pretty quickly. By the time I finished breastfeeding, I looked like this:
These photos are great, but I can still see some swelling.
This time, the mesoscalp treatment worked a lot faster, and it took only two procedures to get rid of the swelling. The product just seemed to work better on my skin, and my face looked like it used to.
Now I'm 32, and I've been doing mesoscalp treatments every 1.5 to 2 months and Botox every 6-12 months. That's my basic routine, and it works great for me. Occasionally, I'll get collagen or biorevitalization treatments, but that's it.
I've gotta say, Mesoskaldt is a game-changer for me - it's like a one-stop shop for all my skincare needs.
As a dermatologist, I prescribe it to patients with sagging skin and it's basically a must-have for anyone in Russia, let's be real.It works best on the lower third of the face and jawline, but it's still effective on the forehead - just be patient, results usually take around 5 sessions, and they get even better with regular maintenance (every 1.5-2 months).
It's essential to set realistic expectations with patients - there won't be any miracles after the second session, no matter what. They need to be willing to put in the time and effort, and ideally, create a calorie deficit (people often get it wrong and think they can eat whatever they want on lipolytic treatments, but that's just not true).
I highly recommend it.
I hope my review was helpful.
