This book about Shmyak is a real treat - I'm hoping they'll publish more soon. I'm writing this review because it's a hilarious take on sports and growing up that kids will love.
When a family member is a huge sports fan, it's no surprise the rest of the family gets drawn in too - even if you're a family of cats. My kid cat is just like that - always trying to impress his dad. That's why Shmyak decides to participate in the competitions to give the head of the household some moral support.
I really appreciate that the book shows a kid cat interacting with his dad and grandfather, because in most kids' books, it's just mom who's around. That's not how it is in real life - kids need both parents to be involved.
I ordered this book from Labyrinth because it offered better value for money compared to Ozon. That's what I'm looking for when I shop online - a good deal that won't break the bank.
