I've been using Sun and Moon Soft-Fit Diapers for a while now, and I'm here to give you my honest take on them. These diapers are a surprisingly decent choice for parents who want a reliable and affordable option. One of the things that caught my attention was the value for money - they're priced competitively and offer great quality. The build quality is solid, and the diapers are designed to be easy to use. The customer support team is also very responsive and helpful. However, there are a few areas where they could improve. The shipping can be a bit slow, and the return policy could be more straightforward. My Honest Take on Sun and Moon Soft-Fit Diapers - A Surprisingly Decent Choice
Hello everyone.
I've been a young mom again for five months now, and with my adorable son, I've had to re-explore the world of diapers - my last experience was a whopping 8.5 years ago, and a lot has changed since then.
As a mom, I tend to buy well-known brands like Pampers and Huggies, but I also like to try out new ones, especially since my friends who are just getting to know my son often gift me small packs as a way of introducing themselves - and I appreciate their thoughtfulness, as it also gives me the chance to write more reviews!
So, I received two packs of Sun and Moon Soft-Fit Diapers - each with 4 diapers, since my little one weighs around 9 kg, which is roughly 20 lbs.
Sun and Moon Soft-Fit DiapersWhen I first read the reviews on these diapers, I was surprised by their rating on this site - a mere 2.7 out of 32 votes. I won't lie, I started looking for the downsides, trying to find any flaws that might have affected my opinion, which, at that point, was already a bit biased.
Sun and Moon Soft-Fit DiapersHowever, as I continued to use them (and I've now used both packs), I realized that Sun and Moon Soft-Fit Diapers are actually pretty decent, budget-friendly diapers that get the job done. Yes, they're not premium, but they're not as bad as their rating suggests.
The price for one pack is around 500 rubles, and it comes with 32 diapers, which works out to about 15.5 rubles per diaper.
Sun and Moon Soft-Fit DiapersThe packaging is high-quality, with the diapers neatly stacked in two rows, making it easy to carry around - there's even a handle. Plus, the labels claim they're made using Japanese (or Korean - I apologize, I'm not sure which) technology, which is a nice touch.
Sun and Moon Soft-Fit DiapersGiven the name 'soft-fit', I assumed they wouldn't be too tight, even on the upper limit of the size range (and we all know that when choosing diapers, it's always better to go up a size, just in case your little one is already on the heavier side).
Diapers Sun and Moon Soft FitNo question, you've also got to consider the real deal: your little one's parameters and size, like my son - he was a big boy (4.15 kg) and growing fast, even at five months, he weighed 9 kg and looked like he was a year old visually. His proportions are also bigger than average.
Diapers Sun and Moon Soft FitYou can also see the layout of the diaper - what's inside and what you can expect.
Diapers Sun and Moon Soft FitThe diapers themselves have a neutral design, they're plain white without any prints, and have the size marked on the front.
Diapers Sun and Moon Soft FitDiapers Sun and Moon Soft FitFrom a visual and tactile perspective, they look solid - not flimsy, but not heavy or thick either.
Diapers Sun and Moon Soft FitDiapers Sun and Moon Soft FitThe waistband is wide and stretches really well, the side seams don't rip, even when you need to change them - I had trouble tearing them, so the risk of the baby accidentally ripping them completely is minimal.
Diapers Sun and Moon Soft FitThe leg cuffs are wide and deep, they don't rub against the baby's legs during activities and don't let anything leak through if there's a mess.
Moon and Sun Diapers Soft LandingI've been impressed with how these diapers handle leaks, but there's one design flaw that's got me questioning their overall quality. Inside, there's a small texture that doesn't quite hold its shape when it gets wet. However, it doesn't bunch up in the middle, which is a good thing given the way boys tend to pee in one spot.
All in all, I haven't had any issues with leaks - not even once, whether it's during the day or at night. I've also not experienced any discomfort or skin irritation, which is a major plus. They're definitely a decent option when you don't have any other diapers on hand.
Moon and Sun Diapers Soft LandingMoon and Sun Diapers Soft LandingWhile I'd love to give these diapers a glowing review, there are a few significant drawbacks. There's no indicator of when they're full, which is a minor annoyance, but not a deal-breaker. However, the lack of a disposal strip is a major inconvenience. When my little one's diapers are particularly pungent, I have to fold them up and put them in a separate bag to avoid any, ahem, unpleasant odors. It's not the end of the world, but it's definitely a design flaw that needs addressing.
I'm not going to give these diapers a mediocre rating, but I do think they deserve a solid 3 out of 5 stars. The lack of a disposal strip is a major minus in my book. My go-to diapers are still the Pampers Premium Care, but I'd definitely consider these again if I didn't have any other options. On the other hand, the Pampers Малышарики are still my top choice when it comes to training pants. And as for the Yokosun diapers, they just didn't impress me at all.
I hope you found my review helpful and informative! Feel free to leave any comments or questions you may have. LarMa
