I'm a bit obsessed with my hair, and I thought I'd found the holy grail with this shampoo. It's super economical, lathers beautifully, and smells amazing, but it turned out to be a total disaster for my hair, leaving me with greasy locks and a bad case of dandruff. Needless to say, I'm not a fan.
Specifications
Hello everyone!
I'm a bit obsessed with my hair, as I'm trying to preserve the length and shine in my, ahem, 'mature' age.
I bought this shampoo based on reviews and hairdresser recommendations.
At first, I was over the moon - this shampoo is super economical, you only need a tiny bit, and it lathers beautifully. The scent is amazing, and I thought, 'This must be the secret to happiness!' But then I started to get a little concerned - it doesn't seem to clean my hair very well. I figured it's a restoring shampoo, so it's supposed to be gentle and nourishing, not stripping. As proof that I liked this shampoo, here are some photos:
I even stocked up on the 1.5-liter conditioner from the same series. After the first wash, I loved it, and the same after the second and third. But by the fourth time, my hair looked like it hadn't been washed at all - like greasy clumps. I couldn't go out with that look, so I had to wash my hair every day (although I used to do it only twice a week). By evening, my hair was a mess, with a layer of oil on top. I'm not sure what's in this shampoo that didn't agree with me, but it's definitely not like other shampoos.
Here are some photos of my hair after a single wash:
It's not a bad look, but it's definitely too greasy. And to make matters worse, I'm supposed to have dry hair, since I dye my hair black and get it colored regularly. And here's the 'bonus' I got from this shampoo - DANDRUFF! It's like a nightmare come true! I haven't had it since I was a teenager.
Got it? No need to explain, right? My daughter (20) and I even used it together, and she had the same problem.
Now we've ordered this one:
It's supposed to be anti-dandruff, so we're hoping it'll be a game-changer!Be careful with your purchases, folks!
