I've been with MTS for over 10 years, and their home internet service has been decent for the past five. So, when it was time to switch to a new plan, I figured, why not? I submitted my request for installation a week in advance, and everything seemed fine.
But then the 20th arrived, and the scheduled technician didn't show up. I tried calling the number they provided, but it went straight to voicemail. No direct number, no way to reach the technician. I was told to leave a comment on the request, but come on, I've got bills to pay and I'm wasting time.
The next day, I got the same runaround. 'Maybe we can reschedule?' Yeah, sure, but where's the technician? I didn't get a response. I figured, okay, let's give it another shot. Maybe it was just a one-off issue.
But then, on the 28th, the same thing happened. The website said the technician was on his way, but at 11:30 AM, I had no idea who or when he'd show up. Customer support was clueless, and I was left hanging.
Here's the thing: if a technician's gonna be late, just give the customer a heads up. That's basic courtesy. But no, I got left in the dark for over a week, without internet, and now I'm looking to switch providers. Happy holidays, right?
I'm fed up, to be honest. I used to rave about their service, but now I'm just done. Get your act together, MTS, or people will start leaving in droves.
I'm not kidding, it's been a total nightmare. Worthless customer support, unqualified technicians, and a complete lack of accountability. I'm outta here.
