Editor's Summary
Moony diapers have let me down with their stiff material, tight elastic, and mediocre absorbency. I won't be recommending them to anyone.
I gotta say, I've been a fan of Moony diapers since my first child, but this latest experience has left me underwhelmed. I thought I was getting the same quality as before, but it turns out I was mistaken.
Here's the deal, I've been using Moony diapers with my second child since birth, and I've always been happy with them. I even wrote a review about the Moony Elit Soft diapers, which I loved. But this time, I didn't pay attention to the packaging, and I ended up with the regular Moony diapers.
First of all, the packaging is huge, just like the regular diapers. The information on the packaging is all in Russian, which is fine by me. But what's not fine is the quality of the diapers themselves.
The diapers are pretty stiff, and I have to 'massage' them a bit before putting them on my child. The elastic is super tight, and it's hard to tear it off. The inside of the diaper is like cardboard, it's so stiff.
As for absorbency, it's just okay. They'll get you through the day, but you'll need to change them at night. And if you don't change them often enough, they can cause irritation, even if they're not full. I've had a few instances where my child got a little red after wearing these diapers.
Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend these diapers, and I won't be buying them again. They're just not worth the money.
