Meatnov Moscow

I'm a big fan of Meatnov Moscow - it's a local favorite in my city, and for good reason. The value for money is unbeatable, and the build quality is top-notch. I've tried their meat products, and they're always fresh and flavorful. Their customer support is also super helpful, which is a big plus in my book.

Why I'm a Die-Hard Fan of Miasnov, Despite a Few Drawbacks

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've been shopping at Miasnov for a while now, and I've gotta say, their unique approach to grocery shopping has really won me over. Their meat selection's always impressive, with all sorts of unique items like Tambov-style sausage, doctor's sausage, and milk sausages. I'm a big fan of their deli counter too – they've got a great selection of cold cuts and more. Prices are reasonable, not super cheap, but not breaking the bank either. What really matters to me, though, is the quality of their products, and Miasnov delivers on that front. I've tried a bunch of their stuff, and it's all top-notch. I love grilling up some sausages and patties, and you can find all sorts of other tasty stuff there too. One of my favorite things to get from Miasnov is their stuffed peppers – they're a game-changer. Overall, I'm a big fan of Miasnov, and I think you will be too.

Miasnov's become my go-to store in the neighborhood, and for good reason. I've been shopping there for a while now, and I've grown to appreciate their unique approach to grocery shopping.
Their meat selection's always impressive, with some really unique items like Tambov-style sausage. The deli counter's got a great selection too - we're big fans of doctor's sausage, milk sausages, smoked sausages, cold cuts, and more.
Prices are reasonable - not super cheap, but not breaking the bank either. For me, the quality of the products is top-notch, and that's what matters most.
We love grilling sausages and patties, and you can find all sorts of other tasty stuff there. One of my favorite things to pick up is their stuffed peppers - they're amazing! Of course, I do think to myself, 'Why not just make my own?' So, I grab some meat (their 'Tsar's Delight' is my go-to), some bell peppers, and I'm good to go.
I often buy chicken and turkey for my kid there. He's a big fan of poultry, and he won't touch beef or pork.
The dairy section's got a great selection too. We love the yogurts and milk - I've gotten into the habit of buying those regularly.
When I'm in the mood, I'll grab some chocolate spread – it's got a great composition, and that's what matters these days.
I make my own kefir at home using Eviteilia as a starter, and it always turns out great. It's not too sour, it's always delicious, and most importantly, it's really healthy!
I used to be really into the Georgian wines in the booze section. They're tasty and not too pricey. That's a favorite of mine, for sure. Although, I've stopped drinking completely now.
I really like the size of the booze section – there's a great selection. Check out the tequila, for example – it's a close one to my heart!
100% guava, and they've got a pretty sweet selection. This store's got just as much variety as Metro.
I'm not a fan of buying at Meat Market because there's nothing bad to say about the products. What I don't like is the pricing. Some things are just way too expensive, like the cheese and produce.
But hey, the mango is super cheap and looks amazing. I didn't buy it because I'm just not a fan of mango.
What I love about this store is that you can find some really unique stuff. Not your average products, but something with a little flair. Like, they've got my favorite 3-shoe chocolate.
So, why don't people love this store?
Well, first off, it's because of the rules. If you're heading to the deli, you gotta take a ticket and get a badge. If you don't get it, you're just standing in line for nothing. And let me tell you, it's all electronic.
Another thing that's happened to me is waiting in line. Sometimes there are a lot of people, and everyone's weighing and weighing, checking their coupons and loyalty cards. And you're just waiting and waiting...
Also, not all products are always in stock. This is because the store doesn't order too much, so it doesn't go to waste. By evening, a third of the products might be sold out. But I actually like this approach. At least everything is fresh. And when I take it home, I know it might sit out for a day or two before I can cook it. It won't go bad. You never know, something might come up and I won't be able to cook it on time.
To avoid waiting in line, the store has a great feature - self-pickup. Once I used it before New Year's, and it was a lifesaver. You order what you need online, and then you pick it up at the store without waiting in line. Of course, any system has its downsides - you can't inspect the meat before buying it, and there's the issue with weighing. Sometimes you can't order in increments of 100g, especially in certain product categories, where it's 0.5kg.
The store also has a self-service kiosk. To use it, you need a tag with your items listed. If it's not just meat, you need to either ask the meat department to add it to your tag or go to the regular checkout. The regular checkout might have a line, or it might not have a cashier, or it might be located in the Relaxation area. Yeah, that's a bit of a hassle.
Now that I'm a regular at Miasnov, I've got my routine down pat. I grab my shopping ticket, head over to the dairy section for milk, then swing by the meat department to pick out my cut. Finally, I zip through the auto checkout and I'm done. It's all about making it a habit. I've seen people get frustrated and vow to go to a 'normal' store, but I'm hooked.
Despite the drawbacks, I'm sticking with Miasnov. They've got a great selection and the products are top-notch. I'm not the only one who's a fan, either - people who shop at Vkus Vill are looking for quality and a little something extra, just like me.
