Hello everyone,
I'm excited to share my thoughts on a kitchen game-changer that's been with me for over a year now – my review of the Mezda Non-Stick Frying Pan with Detachable Handle.
Mezda Granite Non-Stick Frying PanMezda Granite Non-Stick Frying Pan20 cm diameterManufacturer: RussiaThe non-stick coating is free from hazardous substances. The unique mineral-based coating, similar in hardness to stone and marble, ensures a long lifespan. The pan requires minimal maintenance – it's safe to wash by hand or in a dishwasher. The thick side walls and bottom prevent deformation during use.
I bought this pan over a year ago on a popular online marketplace, looking for a high-quality pan for everyday cooking. Let me walk you through my experience.
Packaging/looks
The pan was wrapped in plastic, with a cardboard insert containing essential information and usage tips. It's worth noting that the packaging was standard, nothing out of the ordinary.
Cast aluminum frying panCheck out the insert – it's packed with valuable info to ensure your pan lasts a long time. I found it to be a great resource for learning how to use the pan effectively.
Suitable for all types of stovetops
Mezda Frying Pan instructionsThe pan arrived in a standard cardboard box – no damage during shipping. I was impressed with how well it was packaged.
The package includes the non-stick pan, detachable handle, and a glass lid. It's a great value for the price, considering the quality of the pan and the accessories.
The pan looks stylish and modern. At the time of purchase, the manufacturer offered several colors, and I chose the brown color, which I think looks more interesting than the black and silver versions. It's definitely a statement piece in my kitchen.
Non-stick frying pan
High-sided frying panAt first glance, the main color of the coating is brown, but it's got that distinctive 'granite' or speckled look - with grey, black, and other colors mixed in. It's a great, natural-looking finish that I've grown to love.
Easy to clean
The bottom is smooth, and the body is made from cast aluminum, which already has a non-stick coating. It's a decent weight for a pan like this, making it easy to handle and maneuver.
The handle is removable, made from bakelite with a silk touch finish. It feels nice in the hand, doesn't slip out of wet or greasy hands, and securely attaches to the base. I've had no issues with the handle coming loose over time.
After almost a year and a half of use – it still hasn't loosened up, and attaches securely to the pan. It's easy to remove and reattach, even with one hand. I've had no issues with the handle, and it's been a reliable part of the pan.
Important note: be careful, the handle can melt if exposed to open flames or high temperatures – and look, it's slightly warped from prolonged use. Otherwise, the pan looks intact and in great condition.
The lid is glass with a metal rim and a plastic handle that doesn't get hot during use – you can remove it without a spatula, without worrying about burning yourself. It's a great feature that's made cooking easier and safer.
Frying pan of my dreams with lid Usage
This frying pan is the most frequently used in my kitchen arsenal, with a 20cm diameter perfect for two people or one. I've used it for a variety of dishes, from omelets to caramelized onions.
I use it for:
One thing I love about this pan is that it's the perfect size for making omelets or scrambled eggs – the eggs don't spill over and I get a neat serving for one person. It's also great for making a crusty base for soup, caramelizing onions, mushrooms, or meat, or even making a sauce to go with your favorite dish.
While the manufacturer says you can cook without oil, I still use a tiny bit of oil – I find that food cooked without oil can be a bit dry. However, if you do end up burning your food – don't worry, it's easy to clean. The pan is non-stick and food doesn't stick to the bottom, even when it's burnt. Just let it cool down and wipe it clean with a sponge and some soap.
After using the pan for a while, I've noticed that the bottom hasn't changed color at all. I try to be gentle with it, but I have noticed a few small scratches here and there. It's nothing major, and the pan still performs well.
Non-stick panOne thing to keep in mind is that non-stick pans require a bit of care – try not to use metal utensils, I use a silicone spatula instead. It's a small price to pay for the ease of use and cleaning.
Pan for healthy eatingMy takeaways:
I'm really happy with this non-stick pan from Mezda – it's 20cm in diameter and it's been a lifesaver in the kitchen. If you live alone or cook small meals, this pan is perfect for you. It's a great value for money, considering the quality of the pan and the accessories.
It looks great, is easy to clean, and has a non-stick coating that makes cooking a breeze. The handle is removable, making it easy to store in a compact space. And the best part? Food doesn't stick to the pan, making it a joy to clean. I've had no issues with the pan, and it's been a reliable part of my kitchen.
Of course, if you have a big family, this pan might be a bit too small – but the manufacturer offers different sizes and colors. Everyone will find their perfect pan. I highly recommend it!
