My Double Win in Metchtalion - What Numbers to Avoid?

summarizeEditor's Summary

I'm not a big risk-taker when it comes to sports betting and gambling, but my family's New Year's lottery tradition has led to some unexpected wins. I've tried my luck with Metchtalion, and while it's exciting to dream of a miracle, it's essential to separate hype from reality. Metchtalion's popularity and flashy advertising might make it seem like a sure thing, but I've got some hard-won advice to share. From my experience, I've learned what numbers to avoid and what to expect from this rapidly growing lottery. So, if you're considering giving Metchtalion a try, keep reading to find out what worked for me and what didn't. I've won twice with Metchtalion, which is more than I can say for Russian Lottery, but the numbers I won with are not the most common ones, so it's hard to replicate. Metchtalion's advertising is more engaging and memorable, and their slogan for New Year's is catchy and makes you feel like a winner. However, their advertising focuses more on the big win rather than the chances of winning, which can be misleading. I found it difficult to find reliable information about Metchtalion's odds and rules, and the lottery's popularity can make it feel like a crowded and competitive space. I had to deal with some pushy sales tactics from their representatives, but their customer support is decent, although I didn't need to contact them much.

My Double Win in Metchtalion - What Numbers to Avoid?
Hello everyone!
I'm not a big risk-taker when it comes to sports betting and gambling, but there's one exception to the rule - New Year's lottery. Not long ago, our family started a little tradition - hoping for a miracle. Who knows, maybe Santa Claus will decide to make a special gift, and we've been good after all. We buy lottery tickets and wait. In this review, I want to share my experience with Metchtalion and my win.
Both Metchtalion and Russian Lottery are super popular, heavily advertised on TV with famous actors, and even have similar slogans for New Year's. If Russian Lottery is like the 'granddad' of competitors, where people have already figured out how difficult it is to win, Metchtalion is something new and rapidly growing. There's a bit more faith in winning here, simply because they need the hype around themselves - there's a big winner, you know. Russian Lottery always talks about some random town each year, but nobody's ever seen these winners in real life, of course. Three years ago, they featured Panyino, and that was just a silly stunt. It's a small town, everyone knows each other, but the invented winner? Nobody's seen them.
In short, I decided to go with Metchtalion as it's being heavily promoted, and the draw is held on Channel One, which is perfect for New Year's.
Metchtalion is a product of the National Lottery, so you can buy tickets online on their official website. Before that, you'll need to register, but it's a pretty quick process. As a 21st-century person, I opted for this option, although there's a rumor that paper tickets win more often.
Buying a physical ticket is also an option, and you can find them at a supermarket near your home, usually near the checkout counter. I've seen them at Magnit, KB, and O'Key, but Perekrestok sells Russian Lottery instead.
The reason I prefer buying online is simple: I don't want to sift through all the paper slips to find the numbers I need. I've developed a habit of choosing tickets that have all four numbers I'm interested in (3, 9, 10, and 22) together. The website has a section where you can input your four numbers and then choose their arrangement in rows and columns from the available options.
Specifically, this New Year's Eve, I bought a combo ticket, which included one ticket with numbers I chose and four random tickets. I just felt like it.
I've gotta say, the selection on the website is way more extensive. If I'm looking for a specific number, like a triple, and it's not available on the paper tickets, I'd have to go to another store and look for it. No way, with paper tickets, it's anyone's guess. They're convenient for people who don't care about the numbers and are just taking a chance.
Another thing that makes me prefer online purchases is that I don't have to stand in line and share my personal info. Both the website and offline stores will ask for my phone number, and it just feels like they're building a list of unsuspecting people.
I didn't have a strategy when buying my tickets, I just needed a few specific numbers. But looking back, I realized that some numbers just don't come up as often as others. In fact, during my multiple attempts, I've noticed that the following numbers have never come up: 1, 16, 53, 57, 62! If you base your purchase around these numbers, you're pretty much guaranteed to lose. And, interestingly, the following numbers come up about 50% of the time: 2, 5, 14, 29, 40, 50, 55, 68, 71, 79, 80.
And there's this weird thing - finding a ticket where all the numbers match can be tough. Yeah, I can input specific numbers on the website, but only four of them. I have no idea how many pages I'd have to browse through to get those exact numbers without the ones I specified earlier.
Of course, this is just my theory - I love analyzing what I see. If someone tries it out, let me know in the comments if it actually works or not.
Essentially, it's just like a regular lottery game most of us played as kids. You need to get a line by covering all the numbers. And that's great if you get more than one. Plus, you only have a limited number of draws before the balls stop being drawn.
What happens next is pretty straightforward: the host pulls out a number, and if it matches the one on your ticket, you scratch it out. You keep doing this until all the numbers in the horizontal line are gone. If you don't get a single match, you lose. But if you do get at least one, you're guaranteed to get your money back and win 100 rubles.
I'm curious to know if anyone has ever actually won the jackpot here. I'd love to hear some real stories, rather than just hearing about some fictional person who supposedly won.
I got two tickets for New Year's, but let's not get ahead of ourselves – they didn't exactly win me a fortune. They just covered their own cost and helped with the statistics collection. We'll have to wait and see how useful that actually is.
I've seen tickets where a single number was missing from each row - it's like they're trying to create an illusion of being close to winning, so you'll keep buying more tickets. It's a sneaky tactic, if you ask me.
I had it flashing right on the website and it could be withdrawn to my bank card. However, I didn't do that - instead, I just spent those 'free' winnings on buying two more tickets. I wasn't counting on winning on them anyway, so no big deal.
So, how often do you win in the lottery? It's a fairy tale, I only won twice in nine draws, with the second win being on New Year's Day. In the other draws, I'd get two numbers, but not the winning ones. A total of 700 rubles lost. The amount isn't huge, but it's clear now that it's not worth trying further.
I'd say this ticket is perfect for a fun night in or any other day, but buying 30-40 tickets just doesn't make sense to me. To be honest, I've never heard of anyone actually winning a big prize, and collecting your own money for 100 rubles? That's just ridiculous.
Thanks for taking the time to read my review!
Convenient online purchase optionExtensive selection on the websiteNo need to share personal infoCons:
Some numbers don't come up as often as othersDifficulty finding tickets with all numbers matchingUnrealistic expectations of winning big prizes

Silent Hill: Revelation falls flat compared to the first movie. The plot is predictable, the atmosphere loses its grip, and the ending is a major letdown.
