Hello there!
I've been a fan of this brand for ages, and I was super excited to try out their new ultra-thin diapers. As soon as I spotted them on the market, I ordered two packs, thinking they'd be a great fit - after all, their other diapers have been a staple in our household since day one. Here's my honest take on Manu Ultra-Thin Diapers.
Country: China
Price: 1199 rubles
Where to buy: Children's World, Wildberries, OZON
Size: L (9-15 kg)
Quantity: 58 pieces
Design: The packaging immediately caught my eye with its density. A sturdy, light-blue plastic bag with a clear window - it's a nice change of pace from the usual bulky packaging. On the front, there's a cute illustration of a baby, the brand name, and the diaper size.
The back of the packaging shows a schematic breakdown of the contents of the underwear. On the sides, you'll find information about usage, composition, manufacturing date, expiration date, storage conditions, and the manufacturer's details - all presented in both Russian and Kazakh. There's also an instruction manual for putting on the underwear and a size chart. The packaging comes with practical handles - I've even used it as a makeshift trash bag. The packaging has a faint dotted line where it's been torn open - it's not super easy to open, probably due to the denser material. Composition: Product Details: the underwear looks really neat on the outside, with a design that's been made brighter to catch a child's attention. The underwear itself is white with light purple animal designs. On the touch, they're extremely soft and ultra-thin - I thought they couldn't get any thinner. There's no noticeable smell - they don't smell at all. The elastic around the perimeter is thin and wide. They don't leave any marks on the skin, aren't too tight, and stretch really well.
On the back, you'll find a sticky strip that makes disposing of these pads a breeze.
There's a yellow indicator strip around the edges that tells you when these pads need changing. As they get full, the strip changes color and turns gray.
The legs have a thin rubber coating that doesn't dig in. The pouches are secure, and the contents don't leak.
The seams on the sides are super easy to rip – I've even done it accidentally while putting them on.
Inside, the surface is soft and gentle, with a ribbed texture.
My take: We've been using these pads non-stop, and we've ditched the diapers. Compared to the regular pads from this brand, which I also left a review for, these are significantly thinner and more comfortable.
Left – ultra-thin; right – regular
Top – regular; bottom – ultra-thinThey're a breeze to put on, and I have to say, these super-thin undies are barely visible under clothes, making my kid feel like they're wearing regular underwear.
I put them on for a night, and they didn't leak. They didn't bunch up either. The skin didn't feel moist after using them, and I didn't notice any moisture from the underwear itself.
However, my little one started to get really interested in them after a couple of days. She'd pull them down and try to touch her private area. I had to switch back to regular underwear and look for alternative super-thin options.
Disposal: I was surprised by how easy it was to dispose of them thanks to the adhesive strip.
- super-thin;
- lightweight and soft;
- almost invisible under clothes;
- lasted a night;
- no strong smell;
- comes with a tight packing;
- budget-friendly price;
- caused an allergic reaction.
Verdict: overall, these undies are really good quality and great value for money. The price matches what I'd expect from this brand. However, they didn't work out for us...caused an allergic reaction. I'm disappointed...maybe they'll suit someone else.
