remove_circle Cons
- Unfortunately, the mandarin scent just doesn't smell like mandarin to me - it's more like a generic citrus scent.
- The scent is overpowering and can be overwhelming if you're sensitive to strong smells.
- I was expecting a more complex scent profile, but this one is pretty one-dimensional.
- The description says it creates an atmosphere of calmness and harmony, but I didn't really feel that.
- I was disappointed that the scent didn't last as long as I'd hoped - it started to fade after a few hours.

Editor's Summary
I gotta say, I was really looking forward to trying the mandarin-scented Aromadiffusor from Permegi, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. I'd already tried two other scents from this brand and loved them, so I was expecting a similar experience. But, the mandarin scent just didn't do it for me. Here's the deal, if you're a fan of citrusy scents, you might enjoy this one, but for me, it was a total letdown.
Specifications
Hello!
I ordered the Aromadiffusor with a mandarin scent just before New Year's and Christmas, hoping to boost my mood and get that feeling that the new year is finally here.
I'd already tried two other scents from this brand and loved them, so I didn't hesitate to order the mandarin one. But, I was really disappointed when I first smelled it.

Packaging: the manufacturer did a great job here, the packaging is really beautiful, black, with a New Year's theme, and there's a colorful image of mandarins - it immediately gives me warm associations of coziness and celebration.

I was really stoked to find the Permegi Mandarin essential oil diffuser inside the box, and I have to say, the packaging is top-notch. I've even given this brand's diffuser to some friends in a different scent, and they loved it. The design looks sleek and modern.

Along with the diffuser, you get 5 special sticks that let you adjust the intensity of the aroma.

I usually just pop all 5 sticks into the diffuser.

The packaging comes with a protective plastic cap to prevent the oil from spilling out.

So, first things first, you need to unscrew the lid, remove the cap, and then you're good to go.

How to use:

It's super easy - just remove the protective cap, insert the 5 sticks (you can use fewer if you prefer), and place the diffuser in the spot where you want to enjoy the aroma. For me, that's the kitchen, near the doorway. Whenever I walk by the door or enter the kitchen, I get a whiff of the scent. If I liked it more, I'd be enjoying it even more, but that's a different story.
To get a stronger scent, just flip the sticks every 3-4 days, and you'll be able to smell it more intensely.

Longevity: 1.5 weeks, maybe a bit more, the scent is super intense at first, but then it just fades away, even though there's still liquid in the bottle, I barely smell anything.
Scent: I don't get how you can mess up the smell of citrus, it's usually my go-to scent, especially around New Year's, I thought the manufacturer would at least try to give me a pleasant, citrusy scent, even if it's not entirely natural.
But it's a whole different story here, at first, the scent seemed really sharp to me, then I realized it's not just my imagination, there's some chemical mixed in, so the citrus smells bitter, not pleasant, I really hoped it would mellow out and be nice, but nope. It doesn't smell like those juicy, ripe mandarins we're used to from childhood, with easy-to-peel skin, but rather like those mandarins with a super bitter, hard-to-peel skin... citrusy, but in a really off-putting, unnatural way.
They included a little congratulatory card, which is sweet, if not for the scent.

What I liked:
the packaging is really nice
What I didn't like:
the scent is so bitter and unnatural, I wish it would just be over already so I can get rid of it for good
Conclusion: I'd happily get rid of this diffuser, but I'm stuck with it now, so I'm just waiting for it to be over and never ordering this scent again.
