I'm sure I'm not the only one relying on delivery services these days. With the post office losing its appeal, I've turned to other options like SDEK, Boxberry, Express Courier, and Pony Express. But today, I want to share my experience with Major Express, a new service I tried out of curiosity.

There are several delivery options available, and I chose Express. As with any delivery service, the cost depends on the weight of the package and the distance it needs to travel. In my case, the delivery fee was around 700 rubles, which is reasonable for Moscow and the surrounding areas. Major Express does offer nationwide delivery, and you can also opt for terminal delivery.

One thing to note is that you can purchase insurance for your package, but I'm not sure if it's necessary.

According to their website, Major Express promises to deliver packages within 2 days. However, my experience was a bit different. My package took longer than expected, and I had to wait for what felt like an eternity. I'm not sure if it was just a one-time issue or a common problem, but it's something to be aware of.

I didn't receive any notification when my package was accepted, but eventually, I got a text message with the delivery date. Unfortunately, the courier didn't show up on the scheduled day, and I had to reschedule. I've had similar experiences with SDEK during the pandemic, so I'm not sure if it's a common issue or just a one-time thing.

When I called their customer service, they apologized and explained that the courier was overwhelmed with packages. I understand that it's a challenging time, but it's still frustrating when you have to adjust your schedule to accommodate their delays.

When the courier finally arrived, I wasn't home, and my package was delivered to my building's concierge. Luckily, my husband was home and received the package. He said the courier was wearing a uniform, mask, and gloves, which is reassuring. The package was wrapped in a plastic bag, but there was no additional packaging from Major Express.

I'm giving Major Express 3 stars because, while they're not the worst delivery service I've used, they're not the best either. If you have the option to choose a different service, I'd recommend doing so. But if you do decide to use Major Express, be prepared for potential delays and lack of communication.
