Our Soft Minion Collection Scored Big with Magnit's Latest Sales Event
Hello everyone!
We're excited to share our experience with Magnit's latest sales event, which has been a thrill for kids and parents alike. As usual, their 'kids' sales events are a real hit, and we've got a huge stack of stickers from 'The Ugly Duckling' and a whole collection of character-themed cups to show for it.
But this review is about their latest sales event - the soft minions. The event started on June 3rd, and it's still going on: you can get the stickers until September 22nd, and the minions until September 29th. We know better than to wait until the last minute with Magnit.
So, we went ahead and got all the toys we wanted. The promotional toys come in two series: fresh minions in the shape of fruits, veggies, or berries, and squishy minions. We've got 5 freshies and 1 squishy cutie.
We chose to collect 20 physical stickers and pay 299 rubles for each toy, as there were issues with digital stickers in stores. This way, we ended up buying all the toys - both freshies and the squishy cutie - for 299 rubles each and 20 stickers.
We've got a total of 6 fresh minions: tomato, carrot, banana, pineapple, apple, and strawberry. Out of all of them, our daughter absolutely hated the tomato, but she loved the rest and wanted to add them to her collection.
The fresh minions are great quality and made from good materials. However, minor defects can occur - usually, the arms of the minions made from black stripes are affected. But it doesn't really make a difference.
And the crown of our collection - the squishy minion Bob. He's so soft to touch, and although he's smaller than the freshies, he's heavier and bounces perfectly off the wall like a little ball.
It's actually really fun to squish him and watch him go back to his original shape. We're really happy with this Magnit sales event. Fingers crossed we'll get to the other squishy minions soon.
