Magnet City Fest App

This app is a total game-changer for anyone who wants to stay on top of local events, deals, and discounts. I'm talking concerts, festivals, sales, and more - all in one convenient place. It's super easy to use, and the best part is that it helps you discover new things in your city, like hidden gems and local hotspots. Whether you're a foodie, a music lover, or just someone who likes to stay in the know, this app has got you covered.

Magnit's Holiday City Game: A Week of Fun and Surprising Prizes

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've gotta say, Magnit's Holiday City Game is a blast, but it's not all sunshine and rainbows. The game is a great way to pass the time, especially during holidays like February and March, when you're stuck at home. The mini-games are engaging and fun, making it hard to put the app down, but the odds of winning prizes are pretty low, so don't get your hopes up. You might get sucked into spending more money, especially with the in-app purchases, and the game can be a bit repetitive if you're not a big fan of mini-games. The build quality of the game is top-notch, with no major glitches, and the user interface is pretty intuitive, making it easy to navigate and play. Overall, it's a solid app, but be prepared for some disappointment.

I've got to hand it to the marketing team at Magnit - they really know how to get people excited, even if it's not about free stuff.
That's the only explanation I can think of for why Magnit's app is constantly rolling out new mini-games. This time around, it's all about the upcoming February and March holidays, and it's called City of Celebrations.
City of Celebrations, Magnit review
You can find the game in the Magnit app on the main page - it's essentially an app within an app. I remember the good old days when games were simple, but now it's a whole separate app with different tabs that you need to figure out.
City of Celebrations, Magnit 2026 review → Play, the main button in the app, takes you to the game where you can win prizes in the form of coupons for discounts. The game is pretty straightforward, and you get helpful tips when you first start playing. I won't go into too much detail, but you'll figure it out if you want to.
City of Celebrations, Magnit 2026 review
Now, let's get to the good stuff - what can you win, and what prizes are up for grabs in City of Celebrations from Magnit. The game reminded me of Ozone's Carrot Game - you need to collect crystals (like carrots) and trade them in for a chance to win prizes. Unlike before, Magnit now requires you to opt-in to participate in each prize draw.
So, in essence, accumulating crystals is the main goal if you want to participate in prize draws.
You can collect crystals by completing the game, with each level giving you 3 crystals, and by completing tasks.
→ Tasks in the Magnit app's City of Celebrations game are a long list, but you'll need to check them out yourself to see what suits you best.
For the first 10 days, they're giving away freebies for the shopping list, and then there will be four more categories.
Personally, I don't usually check these lists or buy anything from them. It's just a waste of money that might not be worth the prizes. This time, I'm not going to do it either. To be honest, there's nothing in this list that interests me. Plus, I don't have a Magnt Extra store in my city, which is required for some of the tasks. When I logged back into the game, I was immediately shown that I could claim prizes for tasks I completed a while back – not even for this game.
I might be able to complete a few more tasks because Magnt is one of our go-to stores for groceries. But I'm not going to spend any more money on this. → Lotteries are pretty interesting, with a price tag of 10 crystals. You get one chance, and it seems like the usual deal – the more you spend, the higher your chances of winning. I'm not sure what strategy to use, but it's probably not a good idea to spend all my crystals on a single lottery. I tried that in Morkovske and didn't win anything.
So, I looked at the prize options in the City of Festivals and chose a TV for 30 crystals. My kid's room is TV-less, so we would've had to buy one anyway. This prize is actually a nice bonus!
Draw for a TV in the City of Celebrations, Magnit 2026→ Store, that's where you can exchange crystals for discount coupons on products. Like the saying goes, 'a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.' If you don't believe you can get anything from prize draws, this is the place to be.
Their prices are pretty steep, especially considering I used up three attempts in the game on my first day and got three rewards for completing tasks, and I only accumulated 39 crystals.
I'll probably accumulate enough for a sausage for 1 ruble after a month, at the rate of 300 crystals.
→ Prizes, the section where all the received coupons and gifts are located in this game. You can win products for 1 ruble, discounts in stores, and delivery, and more.
On my first day in the game, I got three pretty decent prizes - a 50% discount on waffles, 45 days of subscription to Yandex Plus, and 300 bonus points in the store, plus a promo code for +400 bonus points on a 1500 ruble order in Magnit delivery.
Prizes in the City of Celebrations, Magnit 2026I'll probably use them all because Yandex Plus is about to expire for us, and I use delivery. You just need to figure out what's worth it, because prices in the Magnit app are way higher than in the store or other places. From what I've observed, the best and most valuable prizes in Magnit games are usually given out in the first few days, and then it's just junk like boosters and trinkets for the game itself.
So, it's worth playing while there's still something to be gained.
