I have to admit, the store I went to was a total surprise. I usually go there for sweets, tea, and nuts. And that's it. But, guess what? They have everything there.

Yes, it's the Yarche supermarket chain. Many people go there for baked goods, but I'm not a fan of those. I usually walk by and head straight to the candies and chocolates. That's exactly why I decided to go to Yarche to collect my kid's New Year's gift. The doors were already open by 9 am, which was super convenient for me. I dropped off the kids at school and quickly ran in to grab the sweets. I managed to collect all the treats in just 5 minutes and thought to myself, 'I want to get something more.' My daughter loves stress-relief squishies, pull-along toys, and slime, but I'm not a fan of those. They're too expensive and don't last long.

I wanted to surprise my kid with something that would last longer. The toy section wasn't very noticeable to me, but the contents were super interesting. That's where I found the magical horse I was looking for. I also grabbed a small house with a pet from the same section. Now, let's talk about the horse.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The toy is called Wild Animal, and the article number is next to it. Otherwise, you won't be able to find it. Out of curiosity, I tried searching for it online using the photo. I couldn't find any links except for Aliexpress. The toy is 100% similar, but the packaging is different. I think the importer customized it and added a Russian label. The toy is unique.

The price. On Aliexpress, you can buy 100 pieces for around 27 rubles each. I paid around 70 rubles for one. I didn't feel cheated. The markup was around 40 rubles, which is a bit more than 100%.

It comes in a small bag with a sticky strip. There's information about the toy, which you can read.

I still don't understand the magic technology behind it. Maybe someone can explain it to me. Maybe it's the paint that changes color with temperature, or maybe the plastic has some special properties.Quality. I have no complaints. It looks like a cast toy. There are no sharp edges, and everything is smooth. It's comfortable to hold in your hand. The detailed face, horn, wings with feathers, tail, and horsehair are all well-made. The paint on the horsehair and tail changes color. From yellow to fiery red through orange. I've never seen a gradual color transition before.

Yesterday, my daughter got a gift. She brought it home and I went to get some bread. I come back, and they're already playing with the pet. I ask if they've seen the horse, and she calls me over. It turns out she hid it. I don't know why.

It took us until today to get to the magical horse. I've been trying to get it away from the sink for 3 hours now, and I'm worried about the water meter readings - water is flowing endlessly. I stopped this nonsense by putting a plate under it. Now, everything is covered in water. No worries, I'll help clean it up. The main thing is that the kid is happy.

And now, about the magic of the main symbol of 2026 - the change in the horse's mane and tail color. It's mesmerizing. We were totally captivated while standing under the faucet. Water, hands, and breathing were all involved. Under cold water, the mane and tail were fiery orange, under hot water, they were yellow. Warm water gave a light orange tint.

The most interesting part, though, is when you hold the horse under cold water, then take your finger and touch it, and the color changes right away. It's like magic. The warmth spreads out, and the diameter of the light-colored area increases.

I love watching the kids experiment with the magic horse - it's amazing how their curiosity and creativity come alive as they try to change the color of the horse's mane and tail.

The kids are absolutely thrilled, and I have to admit, I'm pretty impressed too!

I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase of the magic horse - it's a great value for the price, and it's brought so much joy to both the kids and adults in our household. It's a fantastic symbolic gift for the new year, and I'm already thinking about getting another one for my older daughter or even a whole collection! If you can still get your hands on one, I highly recommend it.
