I've always been skeptical about lip tints, mainly because they tend to make my lips look like a bright pink shade. But when LuxVisage released their new line of balms, including the Tint&Care lip tint in peach, I was curious to give it a try.
Packaging and design
The tiny white plastic stick with the color-matched packaging is a nice touch. I love the combo of colors and fonts - it looks fresh and interesting, if a bit understated.
Lip TintThe thing that really stood out to me was the gorgeous yogurt-pink color. And the attention to detail – the inner packaging matches the balm's color perfectly. It's just really well-coordinated, you know? LuxVisage color and moisturizingAll the necessary info is on the back of the packaging. There was a sticker on the first opening, covering both sides of the pack. The packaging is pretty well-made, nothing's loose or creaky. The cut is a classic diagonal. It's easy to apply the product this way, even if precision isn't a top priority. Lip Tint LuxVisageWeight, composition, shelf life, fragrance, priceWeight - 3.9g.
Composition:
I was a bit skeptical about the ingredients, so I took a closer look. The list is pretty long, but I'll break it down for you: Ricinus communis seed oil, isocetyl stearoyl stearate, cera microcristallina, isodecyl neopentanoate, cera alba, octyldodecanol, cetearyl alcohol, pentaerythrityl tetraisostearate, hydrogenated rapeseed oil, petrolatum, trihydroxystearin, lanolin, stearyl stearate, paraffin, chamomilla recutita flower extract, helianthus annuus seed oil, caprylyl glycol, cetyl palmitate, phenoxyethanol, hexylene glycol, tocopheryl acetate, peg-8, tocopherol, ascorbyl palmitate, ascorbic acid, citric acid, diethylhexyl syringylidenemalonate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, propylparaben, benzyl alcohol, parfum, limonene, +/- [ci 15850, ci 19140, ci 45380, ci 45410, ci 77891].
I was surprised to find that the expiration date after opening wasn't listed.
I did notice a fragrance, but to be honest, I think the formula's scent tries to overpower it, leaving me with a slightly technical smell that's reminiscent of bubblegum.

My Shade and Personal Experience
I wasn't particularly interested in the rose shade, but I wanted to try the peach one. The color in the stick looked beautiful, a lovely coral-pink shade. However, when I applied it, it wasn't quite what I expected.
When I compare this balm to others, the contrast is striking. But if I'm being honest, I think the peach tone is pretty muted. I'd say it's more of a pinkish hue, and a lot more pink than I was hoping for. Not as intense as I've experienced with other balms, but it's not bad. I can wear it without any issues. The texture is really nice - it's got a smooth, gel-like quality to it. The balm feels incredibly light on the lips and doesn't feel heavy or greasy at all. You can definitely tell it's a moisturizing product when you apply it.LuxVisage Tint & CareThe finish on this balm is really shiny, and you can adjust the intensity of the color by layering it or applying it lightly with your fingers. One thing I like is that it doesn't feather out at the edges or collect in a stripe where my lips meet. I also appreciate how it visually smooths out the texture of my lips. I've got naturally pretty smooth lips, but they can get dry and look a bit rough. This balm helps to create a more plump look by evening out the texture. When it comes to aftercare, this product delivers. I've tried plenty of tint balms with a pH formula that can dry out your lips. Not this one, though - I didn't experience any dryness during use or after it had fully absorbed. In fact, it does a great job of moisturizing and nourishing your lips. It's not as effective as another one of their new releases, but it's still a solid effort. As a basic product for maintaining good lip health, it's a winner.
2.5 hours later. The balm has fully absorbed, leaving only a hint of tint behind. In terms of longevity, I'm impressed - the shine lasts for about an hour and a half, and the balm itself fully absorbs without leaving a sticky residue. That's a major plus in my book. The tint (pigment) from the balm stays behind for several hours after absorption, and I appreciate that it stays evenly distributed, rather than clustering in certain areas like it did with their legendary tint.

Yes, it's a bit brighter than I'm used to, and the shade itself might not work for everyone. But it can be worked with. My favorite way to wear it is with a focus on my lashes and this balm as my sole makeup. It's a really nice, effortless look.
It's looking fresh and cute. Here are a few of my looks featuring this balm.
Makeup look #1. For this look, I decided to add some lip color with a trendy cold brown-pink lip liner.

VerdictI was a bit taken aback by the color, but the more I used it, the more I found myself reaching for it. Since I don't have any other complaints, and the shade, although not what I expected, is actually pretty nice in real life, I'm happy to give this tint 5 stars and recommend it.
Thanks so much for tuning in ❤️ I'm feeling great and wishing you a fantastic day 🍀
