A Lip Balm That's Got It All: A Review of LUXVISAGE Mint Balm

I've been on the hunt for a lip balm that does more than just moisturize my lips. I wanted something that would add a bit of color and give my lips a healthy-looking glow, especially during the harsh winter months or in between seasons. I got tired of just using balms because I wanted something with a bit more pizzazz. That's when I stumbled upon the Mint Balm from LUXVISAGE - it's a balm with a light tint and promises to keep my lips hydrated. I picked up the shade 105 first, and then I also got the shade 102. Now I have two balms that I love carrying with me. I decided to get two shades, 102 and 105, so I could try out which one looks better and how they perform on my lips.

Now, let's talk about the packaging

I ordered the LUXVISAGE Mint Balm lip balm from Ozon, and it arrived in a pretty unimpressive package - no box or even a little bag. That was a major letdown, but I decided to overlook it since the balm itself seemed fine and the Ozon sticker came off the packaging easily.

Okay, let's move on from the not-so-great part and take a look at shades 102 and 105.

LUXVISAGE Mint Balm Lip BalmWhen I applied the balm, it gave me a nice refreshing feel of mint, but it starts to fade away after a few minutes, so it's not the main advantage. It's nice while it lasts, though.

Shade 102 - also known as 'Pink Party'.

LUXVISAGE Mint Balm Lip Balm I've been wearing the 102 shade for a week now, and it looks amazing on my lips. It's a soft, natural pinkish-mauve color that really enhances the shape of my lips and makes them look fresh.

The formula applies smoothly, without any streaks or patches - the color distributes evenly, without any bare spots.

The moisturizing finish and subtle shine are just like having soft, healthy-looking lips, but in a more polished and natural way. I'm not a huge fan of lip glosses that melt in warm temperatures, but this balm doesn't budge, and it stays on my lips for a surprisingly long time, even if I'm eating or drinking.

After applying, my lips stay soft and supple, and there's no feeling of dryness or tightness. Instead, I get great moisture and hydration - my lips look amazing.

This shade has become a clear favorite of mine. It strikes the perfect balance - it's a balm, a color, a shine, and a polished look all in one.

LUXVISAGE Mint Balm Lip Balm I found that shade 105 gives a more neutral, beige-nude tone. At first, I thought it was calm and gentle. I really love nude shades, but on my lips, 105 looks a bit patchy - the color doesn't lay evenly. Where my skin is drier, the tone tends to fade, resulting in a messy, speckled effect. It's especially noticeable if my lips are flaky or my skin isn't super smooth. The shine and moisturization are still there, but the 'smooth lips' effect isn't as nice as it is with shade 102. Overall, 105 isn't a bad shade, but it clearly falls short of 102 in terms of how it looks on my lips and the evenness of the coverage.

- The stick is soft and prone to breaking, especially noticeable during the summer or in warm weather. Sometimes, when I store it in my makeup bag or even on my bathroom counter, the balm becomes soft and slightly tilts back, looking a bit messy. It's annoying, because I want it to look neat.

Because of its softness, the product has a higher consumption rate compared to denser balms or stains. If I apply it frequently, I notice the consumption within a few uses. The shade 105 isn't my favorite. It settles unevenly on my lips, even with the slightest imperfections. As a balm, it's great, but don't expect a long-lasting color - the tone is quite sheer, and it fades quickly, especially after eating or exposure to water. That's to be expected, but it's something to consider.

- If your lips tend to get dry or you need to reapply your makeup often.

- For those who prefer a light, non-intrusive makeup look that suits any style.

- If convenience, portability (the balm is easy to carry in your bag), and minimal effort are a must.

I've been using it for a while now, and I've been really impressed with how well it performs. The color I got, 102, looks great on me and applies smoothly.

I've been using the LUXVISAGE Mint Balm as my go-to daily lip balm, and I'm really pleased with it. It's not going to give you a super intense color or replace a bold lipstick, but it does leave your lips feeling soft, comfortable, and looking fresh. I particularly like the shade 102 - it looks natural, neat, and makes my lips feel smooth.

Rating: 4 stars, I'm deducting a star for the stick being a bit too soft (it breaks easily) and the fact that shade 105 doesn't work as well on my lips.
