Editor's Summary
I picked this lip balm on a whim, and while it's not bad, it's not exactly the game-changer I was hoping for. The liquid texture is a major plus, but the formula just doesn't provide long-lasting relief for dry, chapped lips. The peppermint scent is nice, but it's not enough to save this balm from its overall lackluster performance. I'd say it's a decent option for a quick fix, but don't expect it to be a total lifesaver. In terms of value for money, it's a bit pricey considering the lack of moisturizing properties. If you're looking for a lip balm that'll keep your lips hydrated and soft all day, you might want to keep looking. That being said, it's not all bad - the liquid texture is a nice change of pace from traditional stick balms, and it's easy to apply without leaving a sticky residue. The packaging is also pretty compact, making it easy to take on-the-go. However, the silicone content is a major concern, especially for those with sensitive skin. Overall, it's an okay choice, but there are better options out there.

A Decent Lip Balm That Saves the Day, but Falls Short
Hello everyone!
I have to say, today's purchase of this balm was a bit of a rush job. I needed something ASAP and had only a minute to choose and buy it. I grabbed it at the pharmacy near the hospital where I was heading. I chose this balm because I love the liquid textures in tubes and jars, not sticks. I'm a big fan of Boro creams, and the addition of peppermint scent is always a winner for me.
So, let's dive into the review and see how this balm stacks up!
📦 PACKAGING
This balm came in a light cardboard box with the familiar brand design. The box has plenty of labels about the product, but it's missing tamper-evident seals or membranes.
I was really stoked to see the light-colored plastic tube with all the colorful prints on it. It's made of plastic, and the balm comes out easily and conveniently. When you squeeze it, the shape bounces back, allowing air to get in and push the balm further out.
The plastic cap is a nice light green color and unscrews and screws back on easily, feels pretty secure and reliable.
The small applicator hole allows for even distribution of the balm.
There's some extra info on the box and the tube itself about the balm and the brand.
Volume: 10 ml. Manufacturing: India.
Shelf life: 18 months (3 years) from opening.
Price: around 300 rubles.

🌿 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The texture of this balm is quite thick, but it squeezes out fairly easily and doesn't require a lot of effort.
The texture is super smooth and consistent – it's like a thick vaseline. It holds its shape really well.
I found it easy to apply to my lips without it spreading all over the place.
🌈 Color
Light transparent. To be honest, there's almost no color at all.

Usage:
Apply a thin, even layer to your lips for nourishment, protection, and repair.I apply the balm directly from the tube to my lips and then spread it out with the applicator. It spreads really well and quickly, but you can also apply it with your finger.
When I apply the balm, it softens slightly, but it doesn't melt away or get sucked into my mouth.
It absorbs into my lips at a pretty moderate pace. It lasts for about an hour before I need to reapply.
It does a great job softening my lips, making them feel really comfortable.
The balm isn't sticky, but it can form a light film on my lips.
It doesn't slide off my lips or creep over the edges.
I've even tried applying it to dry skin on my fingers, elbows, and around my nose – it does a decent job of soothing dryness in small amounts.
However, this film on my lips really gets to me. I have sensitive, thin lips, so I'm super aware of it. It feels like silicones – like the balm isn't fully absorbing, leaving a residue behind. In some cases, that's a plus, as it provides protection from the environment, but in terms of comfort, it's a bit of a letdown. The finish is totally subtle, no shine at all. But my lips do look slightly better after using it.
I've got to say, the scent of this balm is pretty nice - light and minty. It's definitely noticeable on my lips, but not overpowering, and after about 10 minutes, the effect wears off.
THE VERDICT
To be honest, this balm left me with mixed feelings. I wouldn't buy it again, to be frank. For me, it's just too weak and unpleasant to use. I'm a fan of thicker balms and lip masks, but if you're stuck with nothing else, this balm's not the worst option. It's even okay to use on dry skin patches in a pinch. I'd recommend giving it a try, but be aware that it's not without its flaws.
Thanks so much for reading!
I hope you find some great deals out there!
Wishing you a fantastic day!
