I opted for CRUCLUB, a well-established tour operator, because they specialize in ocean cruises. As someone with experience in the tourism sector, I was impressed by their user-friendly website and wealth of information for anyone planning a cruise.

I was also wondering if I can bring a friend on board with me while the ship is in port. I'd heard that some cruise lines allow it, but I wasn't sure if it's a good idea.

I was also trying to figure out what kind of activities are available on board. I'd heard that some cruise lines offer pools, spas, and other amenities, but I wasn't sure what's available.
One thing that was on my mind was the possibility of getting seasick. I'd heard horror stories about it, but the AROYA cruise line claims to have some of the most advanced stabilizers to minimize the risk.
I was also wondering if I can use my electric devices on board. I've got a bunch of gadgets that I just can't live without, and I need to know if they'll be compatible with the ship's systems.
When I'm out at sea, I'm curious about how connected I'll be to the outside world. Will I be able to get a signal on my phone or laptop? And what about Wi-Fi – will I be able to stay connected with friends and family back home?
I was also thinking about how I'll spend my time on the ship. Two weeks is a long time to be cooped up, and I'm worried that I'll get bored. What kind of activities will be available on board? Will there be any entertainment options, like movies or live shows?
And what about shopping? Will the onboard shops be open all day, or will I have to wait for specific times? I'm also curious about the casino – will it be open 24/7, or will there be limited hours?
I'd heard that the AROYA cruise line has a pretty comprehensive entertainment schedule, so I'm hoping to find out what's on offer for each day. Will there be any special events or activities that I shouldn't miss?
After dinner, I'm wondering what kind of activities will be available. Will there be any live music or trivia nights? Or will I be stuck in my cabin with nothing to do?
What is a cruise personal ID card? I'd seen it mentioned on the AROYA website, but I wasn't entirely sure what it's for. Is it like a loyalty card, or something else entirely?
I was also curious about payment options on board. Can I use cash in the shops and restaurants, or will I need to use a credit card or other form of payment?
And what about tipping? How much is customary, and what kind of services will I be tipping for?
Finally, I was wondering if there are any laundry facilities on board. Will I be able to do my own laundry, or will I need to pay for a service?
Accommodation
I was reading up on the different types of cabins available on the AROYA, and I'm a bit confused about the categories. What's the difference between an inside and outside cabin, and which one would I prefer?
If I book an inside cabin, will it be below the waterline? And what about the view – will I be able to see anything out the window?
How do the inside and outside cabins differ in terms of amenities and services? And are there any different classes of service available on the ship?
I've been to Turkey a bunch of times, but somehow I've never made it to Istanbul.

The food on the AROYA liner is pretty diverse. Just keep in mind that they don't serve pork dishes or alcohol. Since I don't eat either, I didn't have any issues. The evening shows are actually pretty good entertainment.

During the day, you can chill by the pool. The pool area is big, and there are plenty of lounge chairs to go around. I'll save my thoughts on the liner itself for another review.
Alright, so I'm wrapping things up. My experience with CRUCLUB, the cruise tour operator, was a real treat. It was my first time using them, and I was pleasantly surprised. One thing that did take a while was getting responses, but they explained it was due to high season. Thankfully, their chat support on the website was seamless.
I'm willing to pay a bit extra for peace of mind, a good night's sleep, and no stress about my upcoming trip. I'm definitely booking another cruise with CruClub - and I've got some points to cash in, too!
