Laundry Gel for Whites and Grays - A Mixed Bag for Me

I recently decided to try out the Laska Shersty i Shelk hair and fabric restorer, and I have to say, it's been an interesting experience. Today, I want to share my experience using this gel on regular fabric and knitwear.

I've got a small collection of these gels, and I always buy the white and black ones. I get the other colors whenever I feel like it. This time around, I wanted to try the Shersty i Shelk gel on my knitwear.Before I tried it on my knitwear, I used this gel to wash some colored clothes - it works fine, smells nice, but it doesn't get rid of any tough stains.

I always buy the large 4-liter XXL bottle, and I order it from Ozon when they have sales. It's way cheaper that way.

I've got a laundry organizer in my closet that's a lifesaver - it separates dirty clothes by color: dark, white, and colored. It's been a game-changer for me. After my trip to Moscow for New Year's, I had a ton of items to wash - hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens. I figured it was the perfect opportunity to put this laundry gel to the test. I threw in all the items I mentioned, plus a new grey cardigan and a pink sweater I'd worn before. I'm not sure why I didn't think to wash the white hat and scarf separately, but when I took them out of the wash, I realized my mistake - they'd lost their original whiteness and now had a greyish tint. I hung everything up, but I just couldn't deal with the new color of my items, so I decided to give the laundry gel another go, this time washing the hat and scarf separately.

After re-washing them, the color was a bit lighter, but it was still far from perfect - I'm not sure if I'll ever see my whites again.

It's clear that using this laundry gel has made a difference, and I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't think of it sooner.

I also did a collage of the first wash with grey clothes and the second wash with a gel for white clothes and only a hat and scarf without other clothes.

There's a slight color change to the white side, but it's almost negligible ☹️

Washing knitted and warm clothes. As for the rest, everything's great - knitted clothes didn't shrink (but that's not the gel's fault, it's the temperature I chose for washing), the colors of other clothes didn't change, and the quality didn't worsen either. I noticed that after washing with this gel, the clothes don't electrify as much

The gloves remained very soft and fluffy

Scents. The smell of this gel isn't as intense as the Aroma-care gel. Here, the scent is more delicate and soothing.

When the clothes dried, it was clear that everything's in great condition, the cardigan doesn't electrify

Conclusion. I wasn't impressed with using this gel. I don't have many woolen clothes, and I'm still not up to buying silk ones yet. Of course, you can wash regular clothes with this gel, but personally, I don't see the point since I liked the Aroma-care gel's scent more. I think I'll stick to buying gel for wool and silk for now, but if I get silk clothes, I'll give it a try. I think the gel will preserve the fabric and they won't electrify. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars. The category of applicability for using this gel isn't very broad.
