My Go-To Spot in Tver: Lapshichka

Hello! Today's a special day - June 25th - and I decided to write about something fitting: my favorite spot in town! I'm talking about "Lapshichka" - a place my family and I sometimes visit. I'm glad to see more and more unique spots popping up in Tver (at least, that's what it feels like).

As I sit here thinking about Lapshichka, I realize that it's not just a place to grab a drink or catch up with friends - it's an experience. The moment you step inside, you're transported to an Asian fairytale, with beautifully designed posters adorning the walls and a fridge with pink ribbons that's just too cute to resist.

The beautifully designed space - it's like stepping into an Asian fairytale when you open the doors. I could spend hours admiring the posters on the walls (I'll try to add some photos!). The fridge with pink ribbons is just too cute! I'm a big fan of the way they've decorated this place, it's really Instagram-worthy. The cozy atmosphere - it's like a breath of fresh air (or so I imagine). I love how it's always bustling with friendly staff and customers. It's the perfect spot to grab a drink and catch up with friends. The attentive and welcoming staff - I've noticed a lot of young people working here, and they always provide excellent service at the counter. They're always willing to lend a hand or offer a recommendation, which is really helpful. The awesome bathroom - it's got those cool green and minty accents (like the lamps). I've been to a few places in town with colorful, lit-up bathrooms, but this one takes the cake! The bathroom is definitely one of the highlights of Lapshichka. The yummy drinks with ice cubes - we've tried a few flavors! I'm still dying to try their tocpocki (it's been ages). The drinks are really refreshing, especially on a hot day. The time we braved the rain! We were heading to "Lapshichka" when the downpour started, but we persevered. Luckily, the second room had comfortable seating, and we were able to dry off and order some food. The staff was super understanding and accommodating - they even offered us a towel to dry off with! The "Tiger" logo - it's so cool! I love the little touches like that, it really adds to the overall vibe of the place. The fact that you can pop into the bathroom without buying anything - it's a lifesaver when you need to, ahem, take care of business. I appreciate that they don't hassle you about it. It's a really considerate touch.

My husband's drink mishap. We went there recently, and he ordered something, but it turned out to be mostly ice and water with a hint of the original flavor. I tried it too, and it was like a weird mix. We're still not sure what happened - maybe they added too much ice the first time I ordered it? Either way, it was a bit of a letdown. The lack of ceiling construction - I mean, where are the proper ceilings? It's not something you usually notice, but when you do, it's a bit unsettling. I've read that inhaling stuff like that can be bad for your health... (fingers crossed it's just my imagination). I do wish they'd fix this issue soon. The scarcity of promotions and contests on social media - I feel like I always miss them. Maybe they're just not advertised well? I'd love to see more giveaways and special deals.

Overall, I'm still a big fan of Lapshichka, and I know they'll get those problems sorted out. I just love this place! However, those minor issues need to be addressed. Rating: 5 out of 5 - I just love this place!
