My Unlikely Find: Lapshichka Cafe in Tver

summarizeEditor's Summary

I stumbled upon Lapshichka Cafe by chance, and it's become my go-to spot for Asian food in Tver. The menu is straightforward, with just two types of noodles, a few hot dishes, and a handful of drinks. I was a bit skeptical after reading some negative reviews, but my craving for tapioca pearls and a quick bite after the Verkhnevolzhsky Festival won out. The build quality of the cafe itself is impressive, with a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. I've been back multiple times, and I'm always satisfied with my experience. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service. The location is convenient, with plenty of parking options and easy access to public transportation. I've tried a few other Asian places in Tver, but Lapshichka Cafe is my top choice.

I stumbled upon Lapshichka Cafe by chance, and it's now my go-to spot for Asian food in Tver.
Lapshichka Cafe in Tver I was a bit skeptical after reading some negative reviews, but my craving for tapioca pearls and a quick bite after the Verkhnevolzhsky Festival won out. I ordered my favorite drink and was eager to try their food.
I noticed the sign was still showing summer vibes in August, though.
Lapshichka's menu is pretty straightforward - just two types of noodles, a few hot dishes, and a handful of drinks. You can check it out here, or take a look at the counter or self-service terminal. Lapshichka Cafe in Tver menu Lapshichka cafe is perfect for a quick bite, but don't expect to have a deep conversation with your friend - the music is way too loud and dominates the space. The interior is stunning. The cafe has two rooms, with the first one being brighter and featuring neon signs. There are also bar-style seating areas, smaller tables for couples, and larger tables for groups. But what really caught my eye was the second room - it's dimly lit, with warm red tones and plenty of wood accents. Lapshichka Cafe in TverAnd what's with the half-asleep tiger on the floor? Give it a star, please!
Asian cafe in Tver I love how they've got all sorts of tables - comfy chairs, cozy booths, low tables for leaning in over your food, and big tables for group meetups. Lapshichka Cafe in Tver Lapshichka Cafe in TverThe counter's a bit small and it's tucked away in a corner. And let's be real, the view from between the dining areas is a bit bleak. You're right in the heart of Tver, after all.
Wiping and watching - looking around... Lapshichka Cafe in Tver Speed of service: pretty quick, we were expecting around 10 minutes. Cleanliness of the hall: excellent. The cleared tables were wiped down quickly, the trays were taken away immediately, the dirty dishes and napkins too. The toilet room is spacious, with hot water, paper, and paper towels, soap, and a comfortable mirror. There's another handwashing station in the hall. Asian cafe Lapshichka in Tver Menu selection, as I mentioned earlier, is quite small, but enough for a few visits. Or if you like Asian food. By taste: I was expecting something average, but the food turned out to be top-notch. Lapshichka Cafe in Tver Lapsha with shrimp in Thai style - the best I've tried. The fluffy wheat noodles don't stick together at all, served with a delicate coconut-spicy nut sauce, accompanied by sesame seeds, lime, and... I forgot the name of that particular veggie, it reminded me of cabbage, while my boyfriend thought it was onion. It's tasty, delicate, nutty, and juicy.Cost: 390 rub By taste: 10/10.
Lapshichka Cafe in Tver The second dish was chicken noodle soup in a Chinese style. It came with a slice of orange, super tender chicken, and a spicy sauce. I thought it was a mix of tomato and nut sauce with a hint of curry, but I've never had this combination before. Lapshichka Cafe in Tver cafe The noodles were just as soft, but this time with a spicy kick. I liked it, but I was hesitant to try more than two spoons with my stomach issues.Price: 320 rubles. My rating: 9/10 (but it's a matter of personal taste), my boyfriend gave it a 10/10. Lapshichka Cafe in Tver cafe And that's why I came here in the first place - the boba tea, which they call boba ti in Tver. We got both versions: on milk and on syrup. I'm obsessed with these napkins) Every time I smile) Boba ti with strawberry syrup in Tver comes in two sizes: large and small. We started with the small one. It was sweet, juicy, and concentrated strawberry flavor. It was like a mix of compote and jam, with some marzipan added. And yes, it was sweet and a bit chemical-tasting.Price: 230 rubles for the small portion Lapshichka Cafe interior I tried the Matcha boba ti in Tver, and it was love at first sip. The combination of Matcha, cold ice cream with mix-ins, and a slightly bitter aftertaste that's balanced out by the exploding caramel notes is a match made in heaven. In other places, the Matcha can be too bitter, too sour, or just not taste like Matcha at all. But here, it's just right.Price: 290 rubles for a small serving
Lapshichka Cafe in Tver I'm really impressed with Lapshichka Cafe in Tver. The speed of service was quick, the flavors of the dishes were top-notch, the interior was stunning, cleanliness was excellent, and the staff were friendly. Although the menu is still relatively small, I think it'll expand over time. The location is also super convenient. I'd definitely recommend visiting Lapshichka Cafe in Tver, and we'll definitely be back for another serving of Boba Ti, which they call Boba Ti here. Like.Their VKontakte videos are also pretty entertaining.
And here I am, happily sipping on Boba Ti, but in a different city. And you know what? It tastes better in Tver! More tasty treats in Tver:
Shantili's is a must-visit for dessert lovers, especially students looking for a sweet treat.Author Cafe is perfect for groups with diverse tastes - think hearty soups, pizzas, sushi, burgers, and a cold beer. For a smoke-filled night out in Tver, this place is a great spot to grab a hookah.
